Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Vernon Hills

On Tuesday 5/29 I came to eat here with one of my family members, we sat down at a bar table we were greeted by our waitress, she took our drink order (a beer each) everything appeared to be normal like always (im a regular I come to this location about 2-3 times a week) it was a bit busier than normal because of all the graduations so i expected a little bit of a longer wait. Our drinks finally arrived we placed our food order, once our food finally arrived which took a bit more than 45 minutes we asked for another beer. It again took about 15 minutes to get our beers. We were almost done eating when we noticed about 8 to 10 of our family members come in to a table at the bar area so we all decided to sit together. By this time it wasnt busy at all it still took about twenty minutes for the waitress to arrive and ask to get there drinks. By the time everyone got there drinks me and my godfather asked our waitress for another beer (3rd beer in over an hour and a half by the way) after 25 minutes we still didnt have our beers so i turned over to look for my waitress i didnt find her, i see the bartender (the lady) serving two drinks very slowly so i decided i was going to go up and check up on our drinks, when i went up there and asked her for my two beers she said she needed to see our Id's which is totally fine but i asked her how come we've been drinking already and by this time my waitress was by the bar as well so i told the bartender why dont u just ask my waitress shes right there weve had two beers already she just turned and looked at the waitress didnt ask her anything and she tells me either way i cant give you two beers at a time, i told her ok then give them to my waitress and shell bring them over i guess. she said she wasnt going to do that until the she asked for the beers, so i asked her what happened to the other bartender the guy and it seemed like she got offended, so after she refused to give me my beer i asked her to get the manager when the so called "manager" arrived he had an attitude of his own i explained to him the situation and asked him politely if he could please just get us our drinks. I went back to my table and we finally got our drinks, everyone elses food had barely arrived and everything was cold they were missing a lot of the order and they had messed up on an order as well so my cousin went and spoke to the manager and told him that the fries were cold as well as a lot of other items, he replied with oh well i cooked your fries so they shouldnt be cold.. he looked mad at the fact that my cousin was complaining he said he was going to make them fresh fries and by that time i had finished my beer so i asked for one more beer which wouldve been my 4th in roughly 2 hours probably a bit longer than that the waitress says yea let me go get it for you, next thing i know i have the manager right next to me telling me that he was cutting me off, i asked him how come? and he says that in Illinois its the law that they are only allowed to serve beers per hour for anybody that is driving so i told him that i wasnt driving so that "LAW" doesnt count in this situation. so out of anger my cousin asked for a beer and gave it to me. he comes over again and tells me that he was going to call the police because i drank after i was cutt of after 3 beers lol so i told him that its fine call them.. he ended up calling them but i dont want to type the rest... i want to be contacted asap by someone higher up than that so called manager. WORST EXPERIENCE AT THIS...

I want to start by saying that this is a location I go to frequently and although it is never amazing. I can usually rely on getting my order done correctly and in a timely manner.

Today however was very different. I went today 10/16 with a friend to try and kill an hour and half before going out. Thinking we had plenty of time to sit and eat (even though it was Sunday and football was going on) I thought we would be close and if it was a bit longer than okay.

How wrong I was!! We get in at 1:40 am ignored for the next 45 minutes to not have our table wiped down, anyone come give us menus, anyone bring water. Or for that matter no one even noticed us. I am a pretty understanding person having been in the food business myself and tried to give them some slack as you could see the servers were all running around. When it got to 2:30 I had noticed that another table that came in at the same time we did had just received their check and were leaving. Along with that a table who had just been seated we’re getting there second drinks and appetizer. When my friend and I had one thing of water (which I had to flag a server to get) and our orders “put in” even though I can guarentee they weren’t.

When confronting the manager at 2:45 we still had no food and he wreaked of smoke and was extremely dismissive of anything. After all of that I said that I was done and they brought my food anyway at half off as compensation.

Not looking to come back here any time soon and recommend others to not as well. Very...

I don't know what happened to this place - used to be decent. Came in Wednesday night and as the host was seating us he walked past a server who said "You better not seat me or I swear to God.." loud and clear as we walked past him. The host sat us in his section, so not a great start right off the bat. The section was trashed by the way, napkins and paper on the floor, etc. I ordered the Original Buffalo Sauce for my wings (I've never tried that flavor before) and was surprised to see that they came out dry with no Buffalo sauce at all. I asked our server Alexander to check with the cooks to make sure that they sent out the right thing and he said he would check, he hasn't seen them before so he wasn't sure. I tried them and they were bland, no flavor at all. I'm surprised that they call it Buffalo sauce and put no Buffalo sauce on it. He came back and said the order was correct, I said they weren't very good and that I could just take them home and put some Buffalo sauce on it. He said ok and that was that. Did not offer to exchange it for a different flavor or take it off our check. Didn't even offer to give us some Buffalo sauce to take home. I shouldn't have to ask him to do any of these things, I was clearly unhappy about the food. At the very least, he could have asked his manager to come by. I didn't even see a manager there.
