While strolling down Ocean Avenue, my husband and I wandered off the main strip and discovered an amazing outdoor burger and hot dog joint. The setup is entirely outdoors, with plenty of seating shaded by large trees, making it comfortable even on sunny days. Each table is stocked with condiments and napkins, which was a nice touch. We ordered a grilled hot dog, and to our delight, it was fresh and actually grilled, not from a roller. The service was efficient, keeping the line moving smoothly, even as more people arrived. Despite eating at an off-time, the place stayed busy, and everything we saw being served looked delicious. My only complaint is that they serve Pepsi products instead of Coke. 😀 That said, the self-serve soda fountain is conveniently located for customers. Bathrooms are on the side and back of the building, and they were clean and well-maintained. If we’re ever back in the area, this will definitely be a go-to spot, especially when the weather is nice. The outdoor-only seating makes for a perfect casual dining experience.

So usually Casey’s Place was our go to, my boyfriend and I. We love their burgers, and I was always crazy for their cajun fries. Lately, their food had started to not only decrease in tastiness, but quality as well. Not even an hour ago, my boyfriend and I placed an order for pick-up. Went there and got our food in a timely manner as always. But as I started to eat my food, the fries weren’t necessarily hot. They were lukewarm / borderline cold. non-crunchy, and weren’t well seasoned. We live less than 5 minutes away from the establishment, mind you. There was little to no cajun on them as well. And then my boyfriend found a long piece of plastic in his tuna melt that he half ate. The pictures are provided below. We are both so astonished that this has happened. I wish this happened while we were eating there, because we would’ve complained ASAP. we will not be returning to Casey’s place for a long while, because this is absolutely unbelievable. Two very upset and likely non-returning customers.

They do not accept American Express. I got a double bacon cheeseburger and a side of Cajun fries with a fountain drink. The burger patties are 6oz and they are big. I enjoyed the double but it was a lot of burger! The Cajun fries were delicious and the food comes out piping hot and fresh. They do not have any indoor seating it is all out side and they were very busy during the lunch hour. I got lucky to find a seat. Would be 5 stars if I could’ve used my American Express payment method like I tried too. Would go back.

went here with my grandpa who came down to visit, and this place is alright. good place to stop by before or after the beach. small outdoor restaurant, nice seating and you can feel the breeze from the ocean behind you. we grabbed our food, i got a chicken sandwich, cajun fries. he got the hamburger and hot dog. apparently jah sounds like eddie according to the wonderful lady up front, who seemed utterly flustered when my grandpa was ordering. cant blame her though, hearing the boston accent “can i get a haht dahg for the cah” just makes you cringe. grabbed our drinks, sat down for about 15 minutes and grabbed our food.

for one, the chicken sandwich is amazing. nicely marinated and the buns are not overwhelming. for the hamburger however i cant review because they forgot it! hot dogs seemed mushy when we unwrapped it also. and for the cajun fries , might call them a scam because i didn’t feel the tingle from any cajun, and the fries didn’t seemed seasoned enough to even consider them cajun fries.

don’t wanna seem too harsh though, because we didn’t get charged for the hamburger. but seriously, how can you mess up my name for eddie. however i would come back for that chicken...
