It was Sunday morning and the hotel we stayed at recommended this place to have breakfast. The staff is really friendly. We were cheerfully greeted by the Hostess upon arrival who said it would be a 15 minute. We will called about 10 minutes later and escorted to a booth. There are shops that are open everyday along side of the Lemon Tree. So if you are waiting on line, the other people in your party can do some shopping. There were great Our server was very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The coffee was good and that a good start for any breakfast place. The lemon Tree had a constant flow of people going in and out. So there was a nice flow. The staff seemed to work together because they all assisted in bringing items to the table. We ordered an omelet, two corned beef hashes with poached eggs and pancakes. They all came out beautifully plated. My only complaint was that my poached eggs were overdone. The yokes were not runny. On the positive side, the server was so nice that I would not have complained if my eggs came out scrambled. To me enjoying breakfast is not just the food it is the experience. If you are in the area and looking for breakfast, the experience at the Lemon Tree is wonderful

A small breakfast place in Vero Beach with a pleasant atmosphere. Nice crowd as well. We received Immediate attention from staff and prompt refills to your coffee without the need of asking the server. Coffee wasn't strong for my liking but not bad. The home fries was good but my husband got spoiled with the well seasoned home fries served back home at Boca Raton, specifically at Boca Beach House. Anyway, avocado toast and lemon blueberry pancakes were fantastic. I listened to the majority of the reviewers and they are on point. We were on I95 on our way home however got hungry . So decided to get off to Vero Beach and drove few more miles away from I 95 for Lemon Tree Restaurant. Glad that we weren't disappointed. So highly recommended !!! At 9:30am on a Monday, the place was almost pretty full.

We went out for brunch, and my wife got breakfast, and I got a lunch meal. It was our first time there, and it was a cute little spot. The food was a little not to the quality compared to the price. The burger was okay. It had no wow factor. It was not special in any way, and the cheese was kind of gross. It had no like seasonings or flavor it was really plain. That kind of goes for the lobster .bisque was ok, but it was very blend like it tastes like lobster bisque, but it was very light tasting. The crackers that were given were stale completely.I ended up picking them out of my food because they were gross. The potatoes were very good. The eggs were okay, and the pancakes were very dry but had good flavors.

This is a small little breakfast and lunch place tucked away in the Indian River side of Vero Beach, FL. We showed up around the 10 to 10:30 time frame on a Monday. There was a small delay to be attended to at the front desk. Took about 20 mins wait to be seated but had to check the desk to see how much longer and they had lined out my family name from the waitlist. Upon discovery they immediately sat us down. We had a wonderful server named Jordan/George ??(we may have misheard his name??). He was fantastic. We ordered cheese grits with poached eggs with corned beef hash, açaí bowl, the kids got French toast and pancakes. When we were seated we were not given kid’s menu. The server noticed that and went to get us a kids menu when he noticed we were trying to order from the main menu for the kids. Thank you Jordan!/George! About 45 mins into waiting for our order our server brought out mini blueberry muffins due to our wait and said they are short staffed and said it would be 10 more mins. After a total of an hour wait our server said that they lost our ticket and asked for us to reverify our order. Honestly he remembered every order when he went over it from memory. He resubmitted our ticket. After about 5 or 10 mins he showed back up and said that the cook is having a rough day and wanted to see if I would like to change my poached eggs to either fried or scrambled because he (the cook) did not “want” to cook poached eggs. I was really looking forward to poached eggs as that is my favorite way to have them prepared and hadn’t had them that way in quite awhile. I was really disappointed but the server talked me into getting them a different way due to the cooks desires. We finally got our food about 90 mins after being seated. The kids food was delicious as was the açaí bowl which is quite big. However, the cheese grits with fried egg over medium was very bland and had to mix with the corned beef hash to get some flavor. This place was highly recommended and I saw others get their food before us so do think this is an isolated incident but when we got the check it was business as usual. Just an apology from the server who had no fault to our experience. We were very disappointed. I hope that others won’t get this experience especially with children who are...

My wife and I are/were fans of Lemontree. Whenever we have out of town guests, we take them to Lemontree at least once during their stay…but over the last year or so, it’s become a bit of a “crap shoot”. Yesterday morning, they definitely weren’t high rollers. We were told the wait would be 40 minutes, no big deal, anyone who’s been there knows that’s always possible. After about 55 minutes, we were seated and it took our waitress about 10 minutes to take our drink order, that was not common, but those things happen. We typically order when they take our drink order because we know the menu fairly well and yesterday was no different. Our order was simple , 2 quiches with home fries and 1 order of biscuits and gravy to share. The order took about 30 minutes, which is surprisingly long since we ordered the special, but it was busy. Typically when places are busy, the food is fresh and hot because they’re cycling through at a higher volume, so we were ok with that. The food arrived, but we had no silverware and had to flag down a different server than our own because ours disappeared. One order was wrong, mine was brought out with fruit instead of home fries, so the server ( food runner, not waitress) took it right back…the problem was, they slid the fruit off and put about 10 home fries in its place ( I feel sorry for the guy they who”s plate the took those from)…on the same plate…soaking in the juices of the fruit that was obviously just scraped off. Trying not to be like the northeasterners who visit or transplant to Vero and whine about everything, we began to eat. the quiche was maybe at room temperature, the home fries were cold, the biscuits were cold! The gravy was piping hot though! But it seemed as if the breakfast was doomed because the piping hot sausage gravy had a lovely taste of soap mixed in! Needless to say, I don’t think we will visit again anytime soon, but these types of incidents at Lemontree, in our experience, are becoming increasingly more frequent, which is...

Totally upgrading my original 4 ⭐ review from a few years ago!!😂 Basic breakfast choices as well as some more unique choices, make this place a great breakfast spot for whatever you crave! Lobster Eggs Benedict anyone?🤔 Average breakfast prices on the beach side?? No wonder why they are almost always busy! But not to worry. This little hidden gem runs like a well oiled machine and waiting time for a table to open up seems to move quickly. Good food, fresh and with a homemade flavor. Love the free mini muffin served while you wait for your food to arrive. Nice touch!❤️ And yummy! Muffins are made daily in house and they always surprise you with flavor! Mocha Cappuccino, Blueberry, Orange Cranberry, Orange Blossom, Lemon Poppyseed, just to name a few flavor sensations I have had over the 10+ years of visiting the Lemon Tree. The staff is fantastic and friendly! Most of them have been there for years and that makes you feel like you're part of their family and truly welcomed. The line is almost always long on Saturday & Sunday so be prepared to wait, but you'll be happy you did! Located near several hotels, resorts, timeshares, add seasonal residents and of course, the year round people of Vero that support these local businesses year round and the Winter months can bring wait times to almost an hour, so plan accordingly as they do not take...
