Very IMPRESSED Was here for the first time a few days ago as it was recommended by a close friend who raves about the bakery selections and lunch! My husband and I walked in and were greeted by a young girl in pig tail braids and covered in tattoos wearing the biggest smile I have ever seen. She offered us menus along with some ideas on how we could share a lunch, as we wanted to save room for dessert. We decided on the 1/2 soup 1/2 sandwich adding an extra soup. She was so tentative making eye contact the whole time. She went over the options of things to add to our tuna fish sandwiches and read the order back to us. They have such a nice selection of coffee as she allowed my husband to sample a few before he decided on which brew he wanted. They also thought of every cream product you can think off to add to it. She informed us of a free refill too. I was impressed on her customer service from greeting us to even counting back our change! We also, got a lunch and coffee card to earn free ones as we continue to come back! Our lunch was brought to us about 10 mins after we order to which the same young girl was out cleaning up the patio and cleaned our table of all our trash and asked how everything was. She was so kind in taking our cups and filling them again with coffee to where we didn’t have to get up (as we were so full and letting our food settle) my husband was smitten all day when she referred to him as a “young man”. We sat about another 15 mins or so before going in for dessert to find ourselves lucky to be waited on again by the same girl wearing that huge smile. She gave us samples of ice cream so we could decide on what we wanted (even gave us an ice cream card) By the time we were done we were full but mostly impressed with the customer service we got that we will definitely be coming back in hopes of being lucky enough to get the same young lady. She did tell me her name, but I sadly forgot. I really hope she is appreciated at work as we appreciated receiving the best customer service we ever had the pleasure of experiencing after 35 years...
Read moreBreakfast, lunch, light dinner, desserts and more, according to the menu at Cravings along the Atlantic Ocean in Vero Beach. I've eaten here before and never had a complaint.
Busy cafe that touts 10 different fresh brewed coffee blends daily and 24 flavors of super premium homemade ice cream. Plenty of street parking - remember it's along the ocean and near Humiston Park, so they have a captive audience. The wait isn't offensive and it gives you plenty of time to review the menu.
My oldest and youngest wanted to visit on this particular occasion. Ice cream by the ounce they wanted. As for me, I ordered a large Vanilla Malt. Cravings is the only place in Vero Beach that I've been able to order a Malt. Speaking of a Malt, it's too bad that one cannot order an Egg Cream. Hint, hint.
Friendly staff and no issues with our order. For the life of me, I can't remember his name, but our server was the black gentlemen that worked at Patisserie Vero Beach prior to is closing. Wears a really cool hat all the time, but I really forgot his name. We spoke for a few minutes and he is getting used to the new job. I didn't gig him because it took more than a minute to find the Malt powder. After all, new place and new job - it will take a minute to learn where to find things.
Outdoor seating is a plus. It does appear that most customers take their orders to go.
Prices were competitive and not offensive. Remember, they are along the ocean in the "high rent" district. While others may complain that menu prices are high, the way I look at it is simple. This is Cravings - not Carvel. You know the price before you order. If it's too expensive - don't order and go elsewhere.
That's my review and - like it or not - I'm sticking by it.

Read moreAbsolutely blown away by my visit to Cravings! I only stopped in for something quick— an orange juice and a 500 calorie peanut butter chocolate chip breakfast bar— but left feeling like I’d just experienced a five-star brunch thanks to one person: Bella
Bella isn’t just an employee— she’s the heart and soul of Cravings. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me like a friend she’d been excited to see all day. Her energy was warm, welcoming, and totally genuine. Even though my order was small, she gave it just as much care and attention as if I were buying half the bakery. And it wasn’t just professionalism— Bella had this way of making you feel like you belong there, like your presence matters. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it left a real impression. She also clearly knows her products. I asked if the breakfast bar was filling, and she described it so perfectly that I couldn’t say no. (She was right— it was rich, satisfying, and surprisingly hearty.) It’s a gift to be that enthusiastic and informed without sounding pushy, and Bella nails it. In short: the food was great, the vibes even better, and Bella? She’s the kind of person who turns a quick stop into the highlight of your day. Give that woman a raise. Or at least name one of the...
