This is our first time visit. This is a small, neighborhood seafood restaurant in a very small corner strip center. Kitschy decor with photos and signs covering the walls. Table service and take out available. Lots of boiled and steamed seafood options. I had the Crawfish Snack Pack with Lobster Tale Side. 12 Crawfish, 3 shrimp and 1/2 lb potatoes with the lobster tails side. All perfectly seasoned and boiled. The potatoes were perfectly cooked, solid, delicious and not hard or mush as can happen in a "boil". My wife had Fried Shrimp with 1/2 lb potatoes and cole slaw. Shrimp were fresh, well cooked, crispy and not oily. Plenty and delicious. Cole slaw had a vinegar dressing and she did not like it due to the dressing, but the cabbage was fresh and crunchy. She had the same reaction to the potatoes as I had. We both had the Sweet Tea to drink and it is perfectly sweetened. Some sweet tea is way over sweetened, but this is perfectly sweetened and accompanies the spice of the seafood very nicely. Overall, we will be back and highly recommend you come by to enjoy a very good seafood dinner in a good atmosphere with friendly service.

My partner and I, in search of a satisfying lemon pepper wing experience, opted for Crab Stop due to its extensive flavored wings menu. Despite the near emptiness and the restaurant's somewhat neglected state, we decided to give it a chance. The outside seating offered a breathtaking view, but our excitement turned into dismay as we discovered an unacceptable number of feathers deeply embedded in the wings. Initially, I attempted to dismiss it, thinking I could fix the situation by plucking them out, but the issue continued, revealing more and more feathers. The idea of essentially preparing our food at the table was far from appealing. Although our waiter removed the cost from our bill, he continued on and on about "I've never seen that before and i've been here for 3 years!"only intensified the discomfort. Regrettably, we left the establishment, and are confident in our decision to not return

A simple, quaint place in a strip mall in Vero Beach. The menu says it's a family-owned business. Modest, down-to-earth decor. The service was very good. Waitress was very attentive. We ordered Caribbean Rice that came in a pineapple. This stuff was very tasty. We also had clams strips, which could have been fried slightly longer for a more crispy texture. They have fresh veggies. We had potatoes and corn. Both were very good. The garlic bread was soft and tasty. I had an appetizer of Clam Chowder that while it tasted fine, it seemed similar to Campbell's canned chowder, so I'm not sure if it was house-made. Overall, it was a good meal, but it might not blow you away. We ate there on a Saturday afternoon, yet the restaurant was already out of Blue Crabs, Oysters, and Catfish. That should not happen to a seafood restaurant, especially so close to the sea.

Disappointed & Walked Out

I was excited to try this place and ordered the Snow Special while my friends got appetizers and entrees. The atmosphere was nice at first, but red flags quickly piled up.

First, Mia, one of the servers, seemed dismissive when handling a customer's allergy concerns, failing to follow up or offer alternatives. Luckily, another staff member (Male Staff 1) stepped in with a solution.

Then, our appetizers arrived without plates or sauces, delivered by a rushed and distracted server (Male Staff 2). Again, Male Staff 1 saved the day by bringing what was missing—after we’d already eaten half.

What finally made me leave? I waited over an hour for my Snow Special, only to see people who arrived after me getting the same dish first. No kitchen prioritization, neglect, or possibly favoritism—whatever the case, it was unacceptable.

We left, but one person in our group stayed to pay. Shockingly, no staff even noticed that a table of five had walked out until Male Staff 1 was called down to process payment.

I hope management addresses these issues.

Edit: Our party consisted of five individuals, each with their own unique experience. As such, the vendor may receive up to five separate reviews—one from each member of our group. This particular review reflects my personal perspective based on what I observed and experienced firsthand. These are not multiple accounts, but rather multiple reviews from distinct individuals who interacted with the service...

We arrived around 5:45 Monday of spring break, the place was busy, but it looked like most of the tables were eating when as we sat. The dining room had thus intoxicating smell of garlic and crab. Looks like we missed the 4:30 Florida bluebirds hehe.. the waitress was a little disheveled. As she explained happy hour ended at 6 so we only had a few minutes to order drinks and apps if we wanted the specials. She then reviewed all the items they were out of,, which was quiteca bit.. we quickly ordered cocktails and a few apps. The drink prices were reasonable and good variety which happy hour made them even tastier. There was some time between the orginal drink order and the entree orders but it worked out. The dinner order came a little incorrect fries instead of potatoes, no coleslaw, no rice, bisque instead of chowder things like that, our server blamed the kitchen and I think it was both of them tonight. All the food was great it arrived hot and fresh and tasted great.. Osysters fried, perfectly, devil crabs were awsome. garlic rice or potatoes both thumbs up. I'm kinda picky about my fried shrimp and wasn't a bigg fan of the breading I prefer a lighter style and this was a little heavy for me.. I really wanted to order the seafood platter but couldn't convince the rest of the table. Maybe next time cause we'll be back. This could be a 5 star review if they fix the service and get the...

We arrived and ordered quickly. It was not overly busy. After 40 minutes we noticed other people were being served who had come in after us. After an hour and 10 minutes we asked about our food and the waiter (who never smiled or showed any professionalism or personality) let us know that it would be no more than 10 more minutes and, by the way, they were out of lobster bisque(which was the only thing my husband ordered…. Really? You couldn’t have told us an hour and 10 minutes ago?) The waiter offered us a free drink from the bar, but we just wanted our food and refills on our cokes (which he had never checked on). We saw other people being served drinks but no refills for us until we asked again. Then after another 15 minutes, half the table got served food. I had to wait another 10 minutes and the order was incorrect (which he fixed). The food was not good, cold, and we were just irritated. I can put up with a lot if the wait staff is polite, attentive, and apologetic when things go wrong. Our waiter brought us the check (after having to ask for it) and he had given us a discount, but charged an automatic gratuity which we refused to pay. He had an attitude saying he had tried his best and they were short handed. They weren’t that busy and we couldn’t even get our drinks refilled without repeated requests. We will never go back and I think the staff needs to be trained how to...
