Today, I stopped by this restaurant thinking that my experience would be great ! On initial approach the waitress seem a little reserved to seat us. I ignore her response and sat down to order. I ordered Miso Soup, thai spring rolls as an appetizer with a Heineken beer. I continue with order. I ordered two main dishes. The spicy fried rice with chicken and the chicken pai thai. When my order came out both dishes was over cooked. The "Spicy fried rice (chicken) rice was sticking together clearly when I took one bite I could taste it. The noddles was overcook and bland. When I explained to not one but, two associates. Her responses was rude and atrocious that we complain. Dismissing my complaint saying that "it doesn't matter " Keep in mind I took one bite and sat my plate to the end of the table because she was irritated that we complained. Explaining in regards to the noddles pai thai why bother because your too incompetent to realize was thai taste like is the impression that I recieved from her. I paid for the beer and spring rolls NEVER will I return there or allow my friends and family to eat at a restaurant with such disregard for...
Read moreI really do not understand the high marks for this place. This was our 5th and last time eating here or getting takeout. My wife and I ordered the lunch Bento box with the lightly fried scallops. They were heavily fried and appeared to be pre-frozen fried bay scallops. The scallop itself was very small, about the same as you would find a bay scallop. Once fried they were the size of a sea scallop due to all the breading on them. They were then doused in teriyaki sauce. The one I tried had the consistency of rubber. Neither my wife nor I could eat them. We were hungry but they were that bad. They came with other heavily fried pieces of mystery fish(probably tilapia or whatever is cheaper than that). Also horrible. The California roll was less than average but how could they mess that up? By serving very narrow slices of it is how they could. White rice is white rice and a few vegetables with the "scallops". Honestly think we would have been better off eating at...
Read moreWhile the place seemed clean, a number of repairs need to be done on the seats. I called first and asked if they had ramen and they said yes but when I got there, there was only ramen soup but that's okay. First I ordered the appetizer of spring rolls which were soggy inside but crispy outside. The ramen soup came with 3 tempura shrimp, which were also soggy and while not cold, not crispy either. The broth in the soup was excellent with seaweed and spinach that was nice. There was little fake crab and the bean sprouts were good. The noodles came in the soup in a clump and had to be separated before eating but became better as the soup was eaten. I liked the soup but would probably not get the tempura shrimp or spring rolls again. Good service and the customers getting other foods seemed to enjoy their meals except for the baby that screamed often. While this review doesn't sound the best I would return and try a different meal as this is the...
