Tradewinds 41 — Restaurant in Vero Beach

Forgot to take photos of the actual food, but we had a fantastic experience. Drinks and food were all amazing. Ribeye, seafood pasta, grouper special, you name it. The ambiance was typical “Florida-chic” with vintage Florida art. Very clean. The octopus was definitely the highlight of the evening, there was a mishap and to compensate they offered us a free bottle of wine, even upgrading the one we originally picked. The manager Ally was absolutely fantastic as well as the girls running the reception. The bar manager also stopped by and we chatted about several wines. As a new restaurant I think they are still working some things out, but you can tell management has lots of experience at what makes a good restaurant. I have been admiring this building for months as it has been building. Outside is beautiful with great landscaping. I popped my head in there and met who I believe was the owner. The inside needs some work. The inside is all over the place, the flow between inside and outside is not corresponding. I was really hoping for a new spot to bring grandchildren and friends but I’m thinking the outside is only going to be the attraction for this place. We were there for our second visit in 2 weeks. We had dinner on the dock with some visiting friends. Everything was excellent- from service to food. My husband had the fillet which was very good. Our friends and I had the Bermuda fish chowder. I’m Bermudian so had to try it. It’s not as good as my own but it was really close 😊 ( needed a splash of Black Seal rum and some sherry peppers) our friends had the Swordfish which looked and tasted great.
