McDonald's — Restaurant in Verona

This restaurant is an absolute disaster. I have gone here many times, as I have lived in the area for a few years now. The only thing I can think of, if giving the benefit of the doubt, that the employees have a vendetta against me.

I have ordered "one sweet and one unsweet" iced tea and drove away with two sweet teas many times. I have said "no onions" and drove away with burgers covered in onions many times. The part that I can't get over is that the order was taken right; the receipt says exactly what I ordered.

I have no idea why I kept going back to this awful place, but maybe because recently they remodeled their dining room and I guess I wanted to have faith in a second chance. Nope.

I will never go to this restaurant again, even if they offered to pay for my food. As you can see from my images, the chicken is hard as a rock and not "juicy" as advertised on TV and on the screens in their drive thru. In fact, it's more reminiscent to chicken jerky with little flavor; extremely dry meat.

My burger had an actual footprint on it and was smashed and covered in grease. The meat patty is actually black and smells foul.

This is probably not the image that the original founders of McDonald's had for it's customers and this restaurant location alone has ruined mine, my family's, and friend's image of the franchise.

I fully do not recommend going to this location. If you insist on going to McDonald's, I would recommended any other location, as none would be worse than this. But, as my motto for PGHBR stands, I won't tell you what to do, just offer recommendations. You make your...

I've been to this McDonald's many times. Yea, you'll have the occasional small issue everywhere. This time though brought me to this review. The store manager, Terry I believe, has to be one of the most miserable, and disrespectful people I have ever met. Out of the many orders I've placed here, not once has she ever actually looked at me, smiled, and said thank you. If she does say something, she's the only one that would know. I get it, people have bad days. She must have a bad life. I've met previous employees that go on and on when I mention my experience with her. My two boys were waiting for their food with me doing what boys do. We were the only ones in the store and they weren't causing an issue, but the manager thought differently. I could hear her whispering to another employee about us. She had that employee tell them to calm down and to lower their voices. Then, she turns to me and shakes her head. When I get home, I find out I'm missing a 6pc and cheese on my burger. I was too angry to check right there which I always do. It also disgusts me that this is the only international multi million dollar fast food chain that charges .25 for extra sauce. This lady makes it well known too. How can they make the choice for me that I can only have 3 sauces for 20 nuggets. I've watched the movie about how McDonald's was "born". Updated: I was in contact with a Renee at corporate, she was very nice! She took the time to listen to my complaints with this location and rectified it. Thank you Renee! I hope this location gets better! Update: Google wants me to update my review on this McDonald's location. My sister has been here a couple weeks ago. Nothing has changed. They're still messing ppls orders up. I LOVE the saltsburg location. I went to this McDonald's yesterday and had a Big Mac value meal , no pickle. Large size. I had no top burger,no top condiments or cheese! About 2 months ago I ordered a double quarter pounder value meal no pickle and they left my burger on the counter! I called. They never gave me the money or burger back! Pictures uploaded. #Update 3/6/2021... I don't know why I went to this location again but my order was messed up AGAIN. The new crispy chicken is tiny and soggy. The large fries turned out to be small fries! I call whenever they messed my order up the last time the promised they would send free coupons.
