Bella Italia — Restaurant in Vicksburg

This is the second time we have had dinner at Bella Italia! I really didn't think they could have exceeded my first impression but they did, which was pretty hard to do since my first visit was perfect!!

Bella Italia is family owned and we actually felt like we were invited into their family!

I have traveled to all the states and do my very best to find the best restaurants. I love to cook and eat exceptional Italian food but I do tend to be a bit judgy when it comes to certain details. Bella Italia exceeded all my expectations. The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection! The sauce was just spicy enough and it was reduced to a perfect, thicker consistency! We have loved every thing we have ordered!

One of the owners took the time to come out of the kitchen and visit with customers. He was a very nice guy, passionate about his cooking and sincerely concerned about making his customers happy! You can tell he loves to cook and knows what it takes to make excellent Italian food!

It was my first time dining there and I'm impressed. I ordered the burrata appetizer and it was to die for; so simple but deliciously exquisite. I also ordered the Zuppe Di Pesce. The pasta and seafood were cooked perfectly. The sauce was amazing, too. I ordered a cocktail but I can't remember what it's called and it was made well. The bread was fresh and replenished upon request. The salad was bright and refreshing with a vinaigrette that had the perfect amount of bite. We were seated promptly. The server made us feel like we were the only people there although there were quite a few other people also dining. She was patient, knowledgeable, accommodating and extremely kind. I'll be thinking about everything until I have it again, especially that burrata appetizer. This place is great for a special night out or just for the wonderful food and top notch service. If you are ever traveling through Vicksburg, Miss. and looking a great Italian meal Belle Italia is the Place to visit! What a treat! From the moment we walked in, we were meet with smiles and an atmosphere very relaxing and calming. What a lovely and unique restaurant in historic Vicksburg! Such a pleasant server with such a sweet smile. Just when you are finishing the salad (which had the best Italian dressing I have had in ages and super fantastic bread), out came the delicious entrees, Chicken parmigiana for me and chicken Marsala for the hubby. Not only did the manager come by the table to make sure we had everything needed but the chef came by also..and our server, Abby, was the best ever. Thanks to everyone that made our evening in Vicksburg the best...
