This was a terrible experience from beginning to end. We were here for my nephew's graduation, and our dinner here turned a lovely day into a stressful, frustrating evening. The service was horrendous, the manager was EXTREMELY rude, so was the server, and the food was lukewarm and bland. We had 17 people in our party, at three tables, and each table's order was taken separately (leaving to place each one in the computer before taking the next table's order) and served with their food 10 minutes apart. Then, they put all 17 people in our party on one ticket and told us to go to the front to pay. After the last table ate and paid (one line to checkout), they then accused us of not paying them for $7 worth of our aggregate meal, although none of us (at the third and last table to be served) had these extras (which they admitted), he proceeded to verbally assault us, exclaiming that it was unfair that people ate food they didn't pay for. We explained that we weren't at that table and couldn't be expected to know what each person at another table had, especially if the server who placed the order didn't know. Further, we asked for separate tickets and were denied, so we'd made every attempt to avoid such a situation. The manager's attitude, decorum, and overall people skills were reprehensible, and he should not manage a lemonade stand, much less a rrestaurant. I will NEVER visit this restaurant or any affiliated chain again. That's how bad it was. If you want to be treated with respect and like your money matters, I implore you not to patronize this place. I've traveled all over the world, and I've never been treated with such disdain, indifference, and...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst service ever and too for food that is mediocre at best and caused us mild food poisoning. My husband and I went in yesterday to order take out. We each ordered a steak quesadilla fajita , once we had paid for the ticket we asked for extra guac and the server had to make a new ticket for it. She went under the extras section and selected guacamole for us - the total came out to be 1.70 dollars. We left to run some errands, and when we came back to pick up our order, the guac wasn't in our order . We showed our receipt showing that we had paid for the extra guac and would like the extra quac. The manager said he couldn't give it to us because extra guac actually costs 3.96 (including tax) he was disrespectful, rude and created a scene over $2.26 and refused to give us the guac unless we paid the 2.26 dollar difference. Needless to say, it was only 2.26 - so we paid and got a TINY TINY packet of guac. As we were leaving, the original lady who had charged us $1.70 told us that the manager was wrong to have done what he did- we felt the same way. It was only $2.26 but the principle of it left us bitter and to top it off the guac was of low quality (could have gotten a larger amount of better quality guac from Kroger for the same amount of money) and the real kicker was we both ended up with food poisoning. We are NEVER going back. Absolutely horrible.
TLDR: if you want horrible customer service, rude attitudes, and food poisoning to consume mediocre "mexican" food - go for it! Otherwise you're better off even...
Read moreEdit added at bottom ~ This is a huge establishment with multiple decorated rooms. We ate in a room with scenic decor and a WONDERFULLY friendly waiter. Food was fast, hot, and delicious! I don't even care for tequila and I tried a margarita here and it was undercover amazingly smooth and light. Will definitely have to visit again. EDIT (post initial review, which I wrote during my meal): I feel it's important to add a note though I dislike saying anything mal about an establishment, particularly "ma&pop" type places, BUT...
As a vegetarian, I often find it difficult to eat out due to meat stock (chicken or beef broth stock) added into foods, if not other things. I ordered a Vegetarian Special plate, and although it was delicious, I was HORRIFIED toward the end of my meal to realize the veggies cooked for one item had meat shreds that resembled my friend's carnitas tacos roped in between my vegetables... He tried them and sure enough were meat chunks. I worked in back of house hospitality for years and know what happens when you use the same grill and don't properly scrape it clean between dishes of different entree.... I hate to have that complaint but as a longtime no-meat eater, enough red meat in my system would have made me physically ill due to digestive enzymes, if not for grossing me out as I do not touch dead animals let alone eat them. Really lazy and inconsiderate no matter how busy you may be. If you don't have time to be TRULY offering vegetarian, it should not be sneakily...
