Other than the curb appeal (which is plentiful in Vienna), I'm surprised by the high ratings of this establishment. Upon entering, the stale atmosphere alone almost turned me away. Paired with the owner's lacks of customer service skills, I will never return to or recommend this cafe to anyone. My latte was nothing special but it did pack enough heat to burn my tongue. Since I was standing right in front of the owner as I took that first sip, I let him know. This guy legit had a visceral reaction to my comment about my drink being really hot. His eyes started flickering, a repulsive look came upon his face, and in a very rude tone, he proceeded to school me on the temperature of an espresso. I'm a grown woman who's had a 1000 lattes in 100s of cafes around the country and the world. This isn't my first latte but it is the first time that 2 hours later my tongue is still tingling and there's dangling skin on the roof of my mouth (from a micro sip of a latte)! Instead of appreciating the feedback and making a note to ask future customers how hot they'd like their drinks, his only concern was to validate himself and to make it clear that there was nothing wrong with the latte. I can't comment on the food since I didn't try anything but there's plenty of amazing food all around northern VA, and literally RIGHT across the street, so there's nothing good this place can offer that I can't get somewhere else....

TASTE (6/10): Tried ginger tea, honestly, not great. Also had a saffron tiramisu (not pretty sure it was Iranian style), and despite my high hopes… it was a letdown. 🤓

PRICE (8/10): Very reasonable overall! (Except the dessert, that one felt a bit overpriced.)

SERVICE (7/10): No extra service magic, but everything worked fine.

ATTITUDE (9/10): Staff were welcoming and kind-hearted. Good vibes!

PLACE (8/10): Cozy atmosphere, but those hardcore wooden chairs definitely scream “Eat, sip, and get out fast!” In such place, this might be on purpose, I guess.

CLEANLINESS (9/10): Everything was neat and clean, no complaints at all.

ADDITIONAL FEES / HIDDEN COSTS (10/10): None.

Bonus points for the parking lot. 6–8 cars could fit, and even on a Sunday, parking was easy around.

OVERALL IMPRESSION: I liked the place despite the disappointing dessert and hardcore chairs. Would I go again? Yeah, probably. Just not for...

🌟 Exceptional Coffee Experience! 🌟

I recently visited Cafe De Vienna , and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the cozy ambiance and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend something new based on my preferences.

The coffee itself was outstanding – rich, full-bodied, and clearly made with quality beans. You can tell they take pride in every cup they serve. I tried Espresso and Chicken Press Panini and love it .

Whether you’re looking for a place to work, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a perfect cup of coffee ice cream and sandwiches Cafe De Vienna is a place worth visiting. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This review highlights key aspects like ambiance, service, coffee quality, and special recommendations, creating a warm and appealing impression for...

New family style breakfast/pastry cafe in Vienna. Food - 5 The english muffin was the best I ever had for breakfast sandwich. Sausage was delicious too. Tried the pastry kouign amann for the first time. It was delicately crafted. All the layers were beautiful. Taste wise it’s too rich for me. Some butter lovers should definitely try it. Service - 5 The service was exceptional. I was very well taken care of by the owner couple. Atmosphere - 3 It’s warm and cozy since the cafe is set up in a small house with nice wood floors. The tables might be too close for each other especially when it’s full. I heard the entire gossipy conversation from next table. Free entertainment for sure. 😆 Conclusion - Google Map said it’s a coffee shop however their espresso was Nespresso. Not gonna be my go-to coffee place but definitely will be there again for the food.

Lovely cafe with European cafe music, like I'm dining in the Ratatouille movie. They have a nice, unique selection of ice cream, that changes from time to time. Flavors like cherry blossom or lavender, or standards like chocolate. I've tried the lavender (a light, refreshing flavor like vanilla), pistachio, chocolate, Oreo, and Snickers. I've also had a chocolate and peanut butter cup milkshake. The prices are decent, $5.85 for a small, 2 flavors. They also have sandwiches and pastries. The cherry croissant was good. The De Vienna Supreme (Italian meat) panini was good. The egg sandwich was ok but kinda expensive. Their WiFi is easy to access. I discovered the place two weeks ago, and have been there 3 times.
