Mariscos Miramar — Restaurant in Villa Park

This place is almost same menu but new name so also some new staff. They need more ice when blending their margaritas because by the 15 minute it's all just room temp and they need a full shot in them for that price. I had to ask for an additional shot for I to be decent. The menu might have some pictures that are outdated so ask if all you see in the picture is accurate. The food was excellent nice and freshly cooked, all came out within good time. Although the green sauce they give with the initial appetizer isn't spicy, but it should be. Wish they cleaned all the windows at eye level and the walls under the table because from where I was sitting I can see the wall across from me under the table it was all drippy dirty looking and my windos was dirty. Love that after 15 min they put music loud enough for us to hear. And also one very important thing, THE BATHROOM WAS CLEAN. I made an online order and I order from them often. The portions are always good and the food is always great. But since I order from here often I know when a new person made my food or the cook didn’t put effort into making my order for whatever reason. Today, the seafood portion was almost half of what we usually get, even so that we always have leftovers people the portions are big . Today my food was flavorless and the usual portion I get for a $80 bill I paid . I call the manger to let them know that $25 for fajitas with 3 shrimp and the rest green pepper is not ok if they want to continue with business. She literally call me a liar because she reviewed the camera footage and saw that all the cooks where portioning the food correctly. I have many years in restaurant business and this young lady has no idea as a manager how to treat a customer. She mentioned that the portions are never right because they are too busy too portion correctly but she still told me I was lying because her cooks are always careful. Was excited to try this place out but was let down. Wasn’t too crowded. 4 people in our group. Chips and salsa were good. Ordered steak fajitas. We had 3 or 4 different waitresses for some reason. Fajitas came out first with no tortillas. Shortly after, the other meals came. We waited about 5 minutes thinking the waitress would bring the tortillas and no one came. A bunch walked by but none stopped. So we flagged down a different waitress and kindly asked her if we could have tortillas for our fajitas and she asked corn or flour, we asked for flour. About 5 minutes later a man brought out CORN tortillas. We were so hungry by then and the rest of our groups food was getting cold because they were trying to wait for us to get our food. Finally our waitress walked by and asked how we were doing and we told her that we still haven’t received our flour tortillas. About 5 minutes later she brought out the flour ones.
