After seeing the cheese pull reels on Facebook for about a month, I decided I had to try the pizza. I looked up the location, and being 600 miles away in Chattanooga, Tennessee, I wanted to make this a special trip and the start of a new tradition of spending New Years in a new city every year. I talked the wife into road tripping to Chicago for New Years as long as we could eat at Crazy Pour. I must say, this will be one of our most memorable family trips in the books! They were open at this location on New Years Day, and the staff greeted us with amazing energy as we were the first customers of the day for lunch. We read the menu ahead of time, knowing the stuffed pizza would take 50ish minutes to prepare, so we wanted to be early. Our server, Lisa, was awesome! We let her know that we were here on vacation, and she basically gave us the run down and a little back story on the restaurant. She took very good care of us and the other customers as they started rolling in, maintaining the same great energy making our experience the best it could have been. We ordered cheese curds and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, which were both delicious. Our kids split a thin crust, and my wife and I shared the stuffed pizza with pepperoni and Italian beef. I had no idea that pizza could taste this good! You can tell they do not skimp out on the ingredients and everything is freshly made. If we are ever in Chicago, Enzos restaurants will definitely be top of the list to visit. Thank you all to the staff for making this a great and memorable experience. Totally worth the 20...
Read moreI have come to Crazy Pour before and really enjoyed the food and service. It is a fun environment that hasn’t ever disappointed. So, when I inquired about having a big 40th birthday party for my sister there, I knew it would be the right place.
I talked to the owner Stafa, and explained that we were going to do an 80’s prom theme and it wasn’t the type of event that really required a drink or meal package - and he went above and beyond to accommodate us. Not only did he adopt the 80s theme for the ENTIRE BAR that night, he had his staff dress up and had the DJ play 80’s music all night. I had gone as far as creating a play list of 35+ songs and he played pretty much every one. When we arrived to decorate, they had the game room tables all marked “reserved” and a giant table-clothed food table ready. They re-arranged tables and removed tables, even helped us transform the room into a true prom night (including climbing on ladder to rescue an giant escaped helium “4” balloon – considering the ceilings are like 30 feet high this was AMAZING).
I can’t thank Stafa, and the staff here enough (shout out to Courtney and Jianna for taking care of us ALL NIGHT!).
Seriously – if you are thinking about hosting any kind of party, this is the place to do it. Not to mention, it is just a great place to hang out on any random Saturday...
Read moreSo I'll start by saying that on several previous occasions the food and service have been GREAT. Outstanding pizza and wings. Friendly and efficient bar-tenders and servers. BUT on a recent March 10th afternoon we experience a terrible mid-day lunch where we were actually celebrating a birthday. Our server was within our sight but oblivious to our needs. We literally had to wait about 5 minutes for any continued service to the point where we finally just got up from our table and approached the bar with our needs. We ordered a well-done pizza but pizza was not well-done. Which we should have sent back. Awful. When our wings arrived to our table and the server walked away we realized we had no settings (fork-knife) or any napkins or plates. Which prevented us from starting our meal. We finally had to get up to get our servers attention for anything we needed. For a another round of beer the wait was too long and we had to again approach the bar for service. The worst part the restaurant-bar did not appear crowded or busy. Our past get-togethers at Crazy Pour have been great with awesome food and spirits but it's going to be tough to return after our...
