Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Villa Park

We rented out a back area for my niece's birthday, and there were only 6 kids and 4 adults. The food was not good and they only gave us 2 small pizzas that were cold, one sausage and one pepperoni. We brought our own cupcakes so we didn't use their cake. The service was absolutely horrible as there is supposed to be a dedicated party attendant, but not once did I see anyone in our area asking anyone if they needed anything. Then, being an adult, there was not one additional cup on the table so I went to ask one of the gentlemen who works there (large African-American male) and he told me that I have to pay for a cup if I want it. I explained to him that I am with the birthday party, we paid quite a bit of money for and I'm simply looking for one additional cup. He relentlessly denied my request, so I walked around to the front and spoke to the girl who was working there and she grabbed a cup and gave it to me without any hassle or objection. This is the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one. Overall, I would say this was not a wonderful or fun experience, but what can you really expect from Chuck E cheese these days? I certainly will never hold a birthday party for my young daughter there...

Came to celebrate my daughters 3rd birthday on a walk in basis…first paid for everything that was on the ticket of $153.37… went and bought another salad not even 30 mins later just to fix the salad and found a bug stuck to the egg. The manager I’m assuming (Sanya) asked me what was wrong and I told her it was a bug on the salad and she said oh wow do you want a refund (well duh) who in the hell about to eat a salad with a bug on it.. she then turns around and asked me did I want a free drink… customer service is not customer service anymore and knowing I spent almost 200$ you could have at least offered a free card with points on it or something. I’ve been coming to this establishment since my son was 2 and he’s not 11… and this is my daughters 2nd birthday here and I can say it’s not the same since the manager Lisa or Liz I forgot her name was here. I will not return here they are over priced and you get shit service with their customer service it’s like people don’t want to work anymore… and then to charge 12$ per kid for a trampoline is insane like this is skyzone or something no wonder why ppl are not jumping.. this establishment has...

Came here to celebrate my son's 3rd birthday and was very disappointed. I paid for the best party package thinking it would all run smoothly and I deeply regret paying to have a party host. It was her 1st party and they leave her alone to host a special day for us just to have her clueless about details on the package. When we arrive our table was not even set up and our guests were all there on time. That was embarrassing for us to have that to begin with. She also tells me to go order at the register myself when I needed more pizza. I was under impression host takes care of these things and is supposed to make parties run smoothly. Most questions I had were followed by an "I don't know" leaving me to ask another host to help me out. I had to remind them of the goodie bags as well. I feel like I had more knowledge of the party package from the little I read online. Please train your party hosts better since we count on that to have a special event at your facility. Its definitely not worth paying extra to have a host if you have to do things yourself anyways. Will not have a party at this...
