Unfortunately this Jersey Mike's has been open for only two days and I've been on both days since i'm usually a big fan of this chain. In both instances this location has been subpar to say the least. I won't even comment on their first day as there's always issues on opening. However, on the second day, the location demonstrated total mismanagement and is not a good look for how this place will be run going forward. I ordered a sandwich and arrived 5 minutes after the ready time. I was told by the cashier that they 'are busy' and they'll get to my order soon. 10 people in line proceed to get their orders made before mine. The line cook finally begins on my order after restocking and talking for 5 minutes straight, and then hands me the sandwich, saying he must have lost my ticket. I talk to the manager, explaining to him that I understand they're busy but I came in, told them the issue, was given an excuse, ignored, and then served last. His reply? "We're busy, it happens." The kicker? After all of that, my philly cheese steak was cold. Unfortunately a great chain under poor management that takes zero responsibility for poor operational processing. I get being new and having initial pains, but if you aren't going to take responsibility those pains will only persist....
Read moreMy daughter and I went in tonight. Service was quick and the girl that helped us was very sweet. The manager on duty was nice to us so no complaints there however, I did not appreciate how he was treating an obviously new employee who clearly just needed a little help understanding what it was he was asking him to do. This teen was doing what he thought was the right thing, only to be treated poorly when he clearly misunderstood directions. The manager said to the girl helping us “I’m about to send him home” and she saw the look on my face as I watched feeling awful for this poor kid who was just doing what he thought he should. She apologized to me multiple times for his behavior and we left. I so badly wanted to say something to him while I was in there but really didn’t want to make the situation worse for that kid. To the manager- Do better. Treat people better. There was no excuse for you to have that tone with him and make him feel so small the way you did. That kind of belittling treatment leaves marks on people and makes them feel uncomfortable working under you. Read moreJust an overpriced Subway! This is not it! If you are thinking about ordering from here just walk a few feet down to Publix and get a much better sub for half the price. I spent over $30 on their "giant" size sub and it was no larger than a footlong from Publix, with extra meat and cheese. To be Frank the sub was not a bad sandwich, but it was not better than anything I could have gotten from Publix. Even with extra meat, I could have gotten two Publix Boar's Head sandwiches for a lower price than what I paid at Jersey Mike's. I have attached a copy of my receipt so you know that I'm not exaggerating what I paid for one sandwich at Jersey Mike's. I think thieving Mike needs to take his thieving butt back to New Jersey! In these hard times if you want your money to obtain a semblance of what it's worth just walk a few steps further to Publix to get your sandwich!
