EDITED AS OF 9/5/25– stay away from this place!!! I haven’t been back to this place since this review. After 2 years I figured why the hell not… what a joke that was. The entire establishment should be bulldozed. If you can’t read a mobile order ticket that prints out, then maybe you shouldn’t work. All you gotta do is put it in the bag, hun. Instead you had me sit through the drive thru for 15-20 minutes and then handed me WRONG orders at the window. Asked me to pull up where I waited ANOTHER 15-20 minutes just for you to come out and say “if you have any other complaints go to corporate.” When walking in to figure out why we couldn’t get our food CORRECT, we were met with rudeness and advised that they “weren’t remaking anything and if we had problems to call corporate.” Fire everyone, tbh. Terrible terrible service. Whew. We had to enjoy cold and INCORRECT food. Actually, we had to stop and get MORE from somewhere… after spending our hard earned money at Krystal’s because they are awfully ran.
OLD REVIEW FROM 2 years ago— I placed an online mobile order and when I arrived at the window I was told they had no more cheese for my Krystals. The employee called the manager and I was advised to go online and request a refund. IT GOT WORSE FROM THERE! I was advised there were no apple pies, but could give me donuts. I agreed, however after receiving the first set of 24 krystals. and 12 krystals. 12 were suppose to be Ketchup only were NOT!! So I asked for my correct krystals, while reminding them that I still needed my party fries and donuts they had promised me. SO, I waited again and they hand me a bag I thought was 12 krystals with ketchup only, and the sprite and fries finally. I asked for donuts, and they brought them to me about two minutes later. I drove off and then decided to check my 12 krystals. THEY WERE WRONG !!!!! I only had 9 krystals and only 4 were ketchup only. So i made my way back to the restaurant and knock on the door until someone answered me. I explained AGAIN the issue, and they went back in and came out with my CORRECT krystals. Now, by this point, I have spent over 45-1hr at this location. I am furious, my family ate cold food, and i wasted my money. I would like a FULL refund for my order for the trouble I experienced tonight. I have reached out to the "contact us" page on the website as I was advised to do by the employee who was on the phone with the manager. I will be calling tomorrow to check on this. Read moreMy husband did an online order today while he was at work and went to pick it up. The drive thru was backed up like crazy. He thought he had picked drive thru, but then realized it was pick up inside, so he parked and was going inside. He realized the doors were locked, but there was an employee right there, so he asked if she could open the door so he could get his food as he had an online order and he selected pick up inside. She said no, he had to through the drive thru. So he gets back in the long line and waits. The employees are taking forever to get to each car at the speaker. He sees that the car at the window is done, and they have not even started to talk to the one at the speaker, so he drives to the window since he was just there to pick up what he had already ordered. He gets to the window and hears one of the employees say “he’s at the window now.” He tells them that he just needs to pick up his mobile order and gives them his name. They try to give him another ladies order and he tells them that isn’t his and that he wants his order. They said someone already picked it up and he said that wasn’t his problem that they messed up and gave his order to the wrong person because there is no way anybody had his information. He asked for them to remake it and they refused to remake it. He asked for a refund and they said they would not do that either because they gave someone his order already. So he told them that he would dispute it with his bank and one of the female employees told him “oh good luck cry baby.” This is the worst customer service he has ever received. Read moreI don’t know who the owner/operator is for this location but they need to step down and pass it along bc they are doing the worst job in Carroll county. The wait times are absolutely ridiculous, the customer service is horrible and the ownership operation is the worst I’ve seen. For example the last time I went through the drive thru they were out of bags, YES BAGS, I was handed my order in my hands and told “sorry”. Tonight they were out of all beverages except water and tea. Now I love my Krystal’s, always have, but that’s on whoever this sorry owner is. U have no respect for ur employees or your operation and it’s truly an embarrassment and completely ur fault. Step ur game up or move aside. I’ve been putting up with this for years and I try my best not to go there, they have lost a lot of money out of my pocket but every once in a while I have a craving but I know that in some way I’m going to be disappointed but just have to deal with it, and it’s all on the owner. The only reason I was ok tonight was bc the girl at the window was the only absolute Gem I’ve encountered up there in the last 10 years. To the owner: ur a complete embarrassment and are the problem. Ur operation has continued for far to long, I long for the day when u are replaced. I assume u inherited the money to buy into the franchise and Uve never worked for or earned anything in ur life. Hire quality employees and make sure they have what they need to succeed each night, u set the operation up for failure everyday and that’s all on you.
