McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Vincennes

This place was not what I expected, u walked up and ordered off a board menu that was way large so it was easy for me to read even with glasses, the server explained the options that went with the French dip sandwich I ordered in terms of sides & combos, got em covered on my order, then gave me a way oversized plastic glass of soda that I ordered with as much ice as they could muster cuz their ice maker was broken, then we received a number card, sat ourselves down at an available table as they had many closed to reinforce social Distancing, and sat for less than 5 min when our food was delivered. It was all more than healthy portions, and the cup of soup I ordered with my sandwich was far bigger than a cup of soup at any other restaurant I might visit otherwise. The tomato bisque was yummy and the French dip was filling tho could of used some salt n pepper but was good dipped in the large cup of au jus sauce that came with it along with a cucumber vinaigrette salad which was my side. Overall the meal was drowsy inducing cuz of the sheer amount of food, was tasty & filling, & two people eating at a sitdown restaurant only cost bout 30 bucks, which is right on target for most restaurants in this area to dine for 2 at. I'd definately dine there again and try more off their expansive menu, for there were so many sandwiches listed I couldn't hardly process all the choices being offered and chose the french dip cuz it was Angus beef and I already knew what to expect without having to read alot of descriptors to know what I was getting. But if u don't mind dining in for like 30 min from start to finish and r looking for a place that has Covid-19 protections in place u could hardly do better than this place for lunch or for...

Do you not order from delivery here... They hardly get your order right and then doordash goes and delivers it somewhere else!! Which I feel when you order from McAlister's. It should be McAlister's that takes care of it and sends you out some more food. But no, they did not want to do that! Yes, Jacob said he would give me a refund but now I have to reorder $32 worth of food as he cannot take my order and send it out?!? They screwed up and I have to wait for my refund for a few days which in these days with Bidenomics most people can't do. But here I am.
