This review has been a long time coming. What a little treasure of a place!!!!!!! This place appears to be a tiny store-front upon first glance. When you walk in the door, it's a little cramped but all of your necessities can be found. I would like to concentrate on the Spanish food that is cooked in the rear of the store. Everything tastes soooo good. The freshness of the food is undeniable. You can even see people prepping the food to be cooked while you're waiting at the counter trying to decide what you want to eat. The price for a lunch or dinner is not affordable; IT'S CHEAP!!! The portions are awesome. A small platter is perfect for lunch. A large platter is hearty, delicious and probably enough for 2 servings. My only complaint about La Favorita is that there's no seating inside to eat. Parking is somewhat scarce depending on what time of day you go. I usually hate rice but I got it with beans and what I think was a crossover between carne asada and pot roast, the beans were also so good. also got a delectable pastelito which was the highlight of the food, it’s authentic with deep flavors and I honestly am so grateful to live less than a mile from this place!
