Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Violet Township

Ok, I know that I'm whining just a tad, but I like my food how I like it! I was there to meet others for a little reunion and we had reserved the party room. It started at 4 and people staggered in as far as arrival times. The initial group had ordered a couple large pizzas and were already eating when I got there about 4:30. I chatted for about 15 mins or so and then ordered a personal size pizza and salad. One or two that came in late also had already ordered. I forgot that they're salads are made up way ahead of time, so my bad on that. I wasn't paying attention to the time as I was visiting with friends, but it must have been awhile because my pizza was only warm 😳 when it came. I ate it anyway as it was still great, but I'm one of those people that like their food hot! The first few pieces should be "burn your stupid mouth" hot...then they start cooling down. So, wasn't happy with my food that nite. Maybe if they know that there's a group coming in for the party room, especially that time of day, they should have an extra person on hand to help. It didn't seem like there was enough of a crew there, although it didn't look very busy. 😕 Guess I went at a bad time. We meet there every few months. I'll be more cautious...

During a recent visit to the store, I experienced an unprofessional and humiliating interaction with the General Manager, Ethan. While talking to another employee about needing my door dash bag, Ethan abruptly waived his hand in my face to get my attention. When I calmly expressed that his gesture was rude, he responded by saying I was ignoring him, but at no point did I know he was talking to me so I advised that this is not the proper way to address someone. He was also already speaking with someone else at the moment, so not sure why he felt the need to chime in. He threatened to block me from picking up future orders from the location(this is all happening in front of everyone in the lobby). I also overheard him instructing an employee to “get me out of his store.” At no point was I rude, aggressive, or confrontational-I also never even refused to go get my bag either, so I am unsure of where the animosity came from. The encounter was unexpected, disrespectful, and left me feeling embarrassed and unwelcome when Ive came to this location for years. I would really appreciate it if someone...

Ordered a large pizza at 10:30pm for delivery 4 mins away from donatos. They had still not arrived by 11:30pm so I called to check on the order and they said they were on their way. Still had not received the pizza by 12am midnight! Called again for the second time and they had claimed to have the wrong address and wrong phone number (which I had them repeat back to me and they were correct.) The man on the phone preceded to tell me that the delivery man did make it to my location but my street address number was too high and could not be located.... So they did have my address, and didn't bother calling when they were in the area to actually deliver the pizza or bother to call me to let me know they weren't even going to deliver it at all. The man on the phone then told me he had already shut down the ovens and it would take 20 minutes to turn them back on and offered to bring the original pizza that was made an hour and a half ago back...... No thank donatos. I'll take my money back, plenty of other pizza places willing to offer better...
