Came in with my husband and son for dinner. While the waitstaff was wonderful, the kitchen is where our issue was. The food took forever to come out. We were 1 of maybe 5-7 tables in the entire restaurant, and most had their food or ordered after us, so it was a very slow night. The appetizer came out missing the queso cheese. My husband ordered his steak medium rare and it came out beyond well done. My son ordered boneless wings and he complained of how overcooked and tough they were. We considered sending it back but we had already waited so long and would have been late for the movie we were headed to. We just ate what we could and hurried out. I let the restaurant know via the website that we had so many issues. A manager called me a week later and was rather rude, asked why we didn’t address it while there. I stated we were headed somewhere and it had already taken so long for the food to come out we wouldn’t have had time to wait for a remake. He spoke to me as though this was my fault and I was an annoyance for him, though he did acknowledge the kitchen staff needed training. He said he would send me a gift card. 3 weeks went by and I never got it. I reached out and inquired and was told a manager would call me back that day. 3 days went by and no one called me. I had to reach out to corporate for someone to actually call me back. The GM, Robert, was extremely rude. He stated he already sent it and wasn’t going to resend the full amount. But stated he would send me a much much less amount. I explained that doesn’t cover the issues we had. He rudely snapped back “I’m not sending you $90” I’m not even sure where that came from as I did not ask for $90. I was asked how much my bill was, and I did state about $93. But I did not expect that whole amount back, as there wasn’t an issue with my food (besides the fries being soaked in steak blood- which should be common sense to put them on a separate plate because no one wants bloody fries). But there was an issue with the appetizer, my husbands steak and my sons wings. I am appalled at Robert’s attitude and behavior. We come all the time, and he made it very clear he does not value his customers. We will not be back. If you’re the owner, consider letting Robert go. When we checked out the menu we noticed the special 2 for $$ on the back. 1 appetizer to share (or 2 side salads) and 2 full entrees for one price, our selections were in the 2 for $30 column so we decided to try this deal item. We chose to each get a side salad and Ordered an appetizer combo for $18.99 separate from the 2 for $30 dinner deal because the selection was limited. 1st, the waitress forgot to bring the buffalo and blue cheese sauces for the appetizer. 2nd, our side salads were served WITH our appetizer instead of between app & food. Still, not the end of the world, right? Our waitress never checked on us so We asked the waiter who delivered the entrees to the table for the missing sauces and he sent the waitress back with them. My salad was pitiful - it is supposed to be 2 kinds of lettuce & shredded cabbage, mixed with crunchy noodles, slivered almonds, and oriental dressing and be topped with a fried chicken fillet, cut into bite size pieces for the salad. The salad was nearly dry of dressing, and the fried chicken was ICE Cold and looked like someone cut off the crispy breading parts of an old leftover piece of frozen chicken and hard as a rock. I was also given a cold bread stick that was so hard it clanged when tapped on the side of the plate. Still Not wanting to complain I decided to pick out the dried slivers of chicken with it's rock hard breading and just slice up some of the boneless wings from our appetizer for my salad. But it too was cold by that time. Wanting something to eat I grabbed the celery sticks that came with the boneless wings - they had rotted spots on them and were inedible. Read moreThis is literally the third time in a row, and the third Applebee's I've been to and have been completely disappointed. Three strikes you're out Applebee's 🤷🏻♂️ The order was completely jacked. I asked for one complete shrimp scampi meal to go, and I was going to have a cheeseburger in a full size Caesar salad there. My wife was having a full size Caesar salad and a 6-oz steak dinner. The steak meal came out cool, and had exactly 0 flavor, then her salad came out 5 minutes later. Then comes out a freshly cooked plate of shrimp scampi with chicken and pasta on one plate. So I asked the waitress, why did you bring me the shrimp scampi plate with pasta and chicken? That is to go. Where is my fullsize Caesar salad? She then tells me that she put it in a to-go box since I ordered two regular meals she figured I wanted to eat the hot meals and save the salad for later..... ....What😶 Who does that? Why are you making decisions for me after I already told you I wanted... The salad and burger with fries here, and the scampi meal is to go. There was no reason my wife's food should have came out cold. There's no excuse for screwing the entire order up then catching attitude for questioning it. There's no excuse for having to watch the ants climb up and down the wall and around the window and across the table. Nevermind the group of 4 teenagers next to us that use the f word every 5 seconds. Definitely wasn't worth the 80 plus dollars I spent there for me and her to eat dinner.
