If I could give this place a negative rating I would definitely go for it! Its sad how some people can literally do an application for a place that is clearly based off of customer service and forget what they signed up for! Being rude to customers especially when you claim to be the "GM" is seriously absurd! I work front desk at a hotel in the same area and a few co-workers including myself order from this place all the time and get the same things so we automatically know the prices of everything we get. We get a 50% discount. Anyways there was a dispute I had with the GM and she was very rude she didn't give me the discount I get all the time and lied about the price. I'm guessing she was being devious because of an issue where she felt like we should tip their delivery drivers more. I personally am an college student who works full time an owns my own everything i'm not broke but I do tip the drivers out of respect and generosity and give them what I can even if that's only $2. You don't expect to get a $20 tip every delivery you work. Some people just don't got it. Can't pull money out of my butt! Being a delivery driver you should already know how the game works. Sometimes you strike gold sometimes you don't THAT'S APART OF THE JOB! Being rude to customers and lying about prices for not tipping your drivers what you want is just down right disrespectful and sad. I asked for corporate's number to report this lady because I've had it this time and she of course, gave me some random number. I did some research and found the REAL number and left a very detailed message about this experience. I know it sounds extra but it really hurt my feelings this lady was acting this way. Its not about the pizza its the principle. Simple. I will definitely be notifying the rest of my co-workers and also my GM about this situation so that they know not to ever order from them again. I wouldn't even trust eating anything from there again I am not about to die from someone poisoning my food lol. I'm better off ordering from Dominos or something. Read moreOn the morning of March 29th, at around 12:30am I made an order for 2lb of wings and a medium pizza. I also made a separarte order because I forgot to include extra Chanellos sauce. I was sure to purchase 7 of them.
Well after an hour had passed, my estimated time of arrival for my food turned from 1:20 to 1:50. I didn’t think much of it, thought it might be a slight back up due to understaffing and being busy on the weekend - but I was beyond wrong.
That night, my food did not deliver until 3:30am. I called the store a total of three times between 12:45am and 3:30am. When I had called around 2am, the guy said that the driver was on the way back from a delivery, and our order was next out the door. So then why did it take an hour and a half to get to me? On top of that, when the food actually got delivered - all the guy could say was “sorry about that” and walked away. And yes, the food was cold. Definitely was not worth what we paid, tipped, and waited. I hate that I had to tip prior to delivery.
ON TOP OF THAT, HE FORGOT THE EXTRA 7 SAUCES I PAID FOR. So what did I do the next morning? I called Chanellos and asked for a refund on my sauces, AFTER requesting to speak to a manager, but I knew that little white boy voice that claimed he was the manager and would handle my refund; it was the same one that told me my food was next out the door.
Today is now April 6th and Chanellos/or that white boy, still has no process my refund. I will attempt one more time to collect my refund before disputing the charge with my bank. That’s almost $10 worth of sauce, tip and fees. That’s half my gas tank!
I am a long time supporter of Chanellos, but I never ordered from this location before. I only did because it’s 8 minutes away from my house. I will no longer be ordering from this location and advise everyone to be cautious when ordering from this location and handling their customer service.
I have, since this incident, purchased from this location again without issues (sweet black girl answered the phone and helped us wonderfully), but upon noticing a week later - I still dont have my refund from my sauces I ordered that terribly long night. We’ll be in touch...
Read moreIf I could not add a star, that is how bad of an experience I just had. 10.25.23 The staff member working at your location who claimed to be the General Manager was very rude and uncooperative. My husband entered the store after I checked in online for curbside, during this time the man working asked for the order number and my husband provided # and then in a very nasty tone the staff member asked for the name my husband then proceeds to inform him of the order number while our food was sitting getting cold and also I have already checked in to your online system to notify that I have arrived to pick my order up. The staff member then gets mad and irate which did not de-escalate the situation involving a customer service issue. If your staff is not competent enough to be able to multi task and work in a fast pace environment and maintain self composure in a difficult situation I don't believe this is the field for him. I feel that this was racially motivated due to there was no threats being made and a customer just voicing the opinion of the customer service being provided and as the worker stated he has soo many orders and he is the only one working and he cant take the customer getting upset due to them watching their food getting cold and the customer continues to inform of the order # the police was called for no reason at all, a waste of tax money and he took a picture of my car without my permission as I work within the government with a clean record. I even empathized that I understand how it is to work under pressure and dealing with upset customers but that can not be your first line of defense when you have a upset black due to poor customer service trying to feed his family you need help from law enforcement REALLY!!!
