This Domino's Pizza is located in the Dam Neck Square Shopping Center, which is located at the corner of Dam Neck Rd. and General Booth Blvd. For frame of reference, other places inside here include Subway, Huntley's Place, and Aldi. My most recent visit here was on January 14, 2022.
My first visit to this Domino's was actually on December 31, 2021. I saw that there were some low reviews, but I also noticed that they were from over a year ago. Things can change in that time, so I still decided to give them a try, especially with their $5.99 special (2 or more select items at that price).
For both of these different orders, they were done online or through the Domino's app. Both orders included a few 12" pizzas with alfredo sauce as the base instead of marinara sauce, extra cheese, and extra pepperoni. Not all pizza places have a choice of bases, so I am glad they had alfredo as an option since I am not a fan of marinara sauce to begin with (heartburn). With the special noted above, there was no extra charge for the extra cheese and extra pepperoni. In addition to the pizzas, I had also gotten the 8-piece parmesan bread twists with garlic dipping sauce (you can choose what sauces you want). On the first order, we picked up in store, but for the second one, we did the car side delivery. The car side delivery option was pretty good too. Once you check in on the app, you put your blinkers on and then a two-minute timer starts. If they don't get it out to you in that time period, you get a free pizza on your next order. In this case, they were out there with the entire order in less than a minute.
After getting home each time with the pizzas, they were still nice and hot. They were cooked the way we wanted it, and it was exactly as ordered. The dough on the pizzas were cooked perfectly and wasn't too hard to eat either. The parmesan bread twists were amazing too, and both that and the pizza went very well with the garlic dipping sauce too.
After having a few great experiences here, I am glad that I gave them a try. Even though there are some lower rated reviews further in the past, I think there have been major changes over that time to improve the experience here. The Dominos may have fallen down in the past, but they definitely seem to be upright again. The food was great, and the service was too. I know there are many different pizza places in the area, but I would definitely continue to patronize this location in the future, and you should consider this...
Read moreIve ordered from this location at least 12 times and this dominos location NEVER ceases fail at forgetting the god damn sauces litterally every time i order from here. Its gotten to the point where i could bet money and get rich due to the consistency at which they screw things up. i typically order 3 or more extra sauces with each order thats $1.50 at a minimum per order lost each time for a total of no less then $18. they ALWAYS forget and im sure that i cant be the only one they forget to give the sauces to. so just think of how much theyre jipping customers off and saving while doing it. I ordered from a dominos in Chesapeake during a flash flood and they managed to get my food to me hot and correct. this location cant get the simplest part of the order done right. i even tried to call this time to remind them but the line kept ringing until it finally dropped and when i tried to call back an automated message said they were closed this was at 1145pm. look this may not seem like a big deal to you guys. but as a customer i placed this order because its what i wanted to eat so when it comes incorrect in the slightest way of corse im going to be disappointed! I will no longer be waisting my money at this particular location. I will instead be ordering from local places like CALZ a local pizza restaurant just a short walk away from the base. or heck anywhere else at this point because at least they...
Read moreI don't know what the USA is coming to, but when an establishment won't accept American tender because of the denomination of the bill, I'm done shopping there! I order my food online it came to $22. When I arrived and wanted to pay with a $100 bill, I was told they don't accept $50 or $100 bills. I didn't even feel like getting into with this young cashier, so I just left. The MOD didn't even come tell me herself. Another problem with the USA today, they have young people in positions of authority but won't deal with customers, RIDICULOUS!!! It was 18:00, there is NO REASON why a huge chain like Domino's Pizza cannot accept a $100 bill at 18:00. It's not like they just opened, they had been opened since at least 11:00 am. As much a I like Domino's, I may not go back. When I can't spend my earned money on dinner for my family because its cash instead of plastic, it's a...
