I am seriously considering calling the Manager. I will have to think on it. They have this promotional cup, which the Manager herself actually gave me. I go to this DD every weekday morning and get an extra large coffee. They know me and she said "you come every day, here have one, we have tons of them". Apparently there was a coupon for it, I toss coupons. :-) Anyhow, all week I've been getting my extra large coffee using this cup, I asked if the coffee can stay in the white reg cup because the promo cup doesn't keep the coffee hot. They haven't had an issue with this at all. So I go there this morning, and place my order, get to the window, hand the boy my cup for him to scan, pay the $1.10 and ask if the coffee can remain in the white cup because it doesn't stay hot in the other cup. Sure, no problem. He did NOT tell me "oh, mam, we are sorry, we've been giving extra large coffees in error for the past week and a half, these are now only to be filled as a large"... NO he didn't say that and give me the opportunity to pay for an extra large... instead he took my money and proceeded to give me my coffee.. I noticed the cup was a large and so i asked "this looks like a large?" His reply was "She told us to only fill them as large" I said ok, that is fine, "can i pay for the extra large". He closes the window and then i assume asks how he can do this, then proceeds to open the window and says "She says i don't have a way to only pay the difference and get an extra large" Seriously? I can do the math but at this point this boy was so RUDE, and just seemed to be bothered by having to actually talk to THINK about anything. An extra large is $2.40, I paid $1.10 so that would mean I owed them $1.30- which I would have gladly paid to get my extra large, but with this kids attitude I was going to go off so I just said give me the F*ing coffee and left. The issue I have is the lack of customer service. BEFORE he took my money, he should have told me the mistake they had been making- I would have been ok with that. BEFORE he just shoved it in my hand like that is that.. I would have then been able to say, never mind, I will pay full price for the extra large please. I don't mind paying for my coffee... But the lack of customer service by this DD employee was just horrible. I am now pondering hitting the one at the Exxon on the corner of Independence and VB Blvd instead every morning. It may only be about $12 a week but those sales add up and may make an impact. That manager needs to teach her employees some customer service. That boy...
Read moreNever again will I go here . I had been here a few times before but this visit on 11/22/14 was the worse. I went to get me and a coworker some coffee around 1pm she wanted the number 5 combo with a med coffee and whip cream added I wanted just a lg coffee with pumpkin spice and extra cream there was on car in front of me and I waited my whole 15 min break just to get to the window. when I got there Jessica or Lauren I don't know which is here name cause when we later called she lied about her name. she handed me the sandwich and said the coffees are coming. okay I'm still being patient even though I've now been gone from work for quite a while. She hand me out coffees which felt a bit cool but needing to get back to work I opted to travel the five minutes back to work and sipped my coffee while driving it was beyond cold I was aggravated I mean I waited so long for ice coffee in a hot cup. when I returned to work I told my coworker to heat her coffee because mine was cold she took her lid off to do so no whip cream which was on receipt to be added. Now mad cause both our coffees are cold and sandwich is also cold my coworker calls I haven't been back to job more than five minutes the employee answered the phone and stated there was no manager on duty and her name was Jessica as the receipt said and manager was Lauren than she said that there was nothing she could do because I probably made another stop before going back to work which I didn't I had already been gone too long and that was my only intended stop. She than began to laugh and say well if y'all can't come back enjoy your cold coffee like who says that my cowojer was pissed. she did give us the corporate number but again we we don't know her name because she lied. .I go to a dunkin donuts every morning before work but I will never ever go...
Read moreHORRIBLE! If there was a 0 star that's what I would have given!!! I went there on 3/19/17 at approximately 11:30 a.m. to purchase 2 dozen donuts. My dad's favorite is the chocolate iced and my husband's is the cruellers. I waited about 5-8 minutes waiting for the customer in front of me to finish his order and by the time he was done there was only 1 chocolate iced and 2 cruellers. So before I ordered I asked if there were more in the back since that is what I came there for. I believe a manager overheard me and peeked in the back and said that yes there were more but with sprinkles. So I told the cashier that I don't want the sprinkles and she said she would ask the girl in the back making them. So as I was standing there I heard her ask the "other" girl. The 'other' girl then said NO!..loud enough for me to hear. The cashier walked the 5 steps back with a look on her face, and repeated to me, NO. So I replied back in shock, NO?! At that moment it was just an awkward situation. Like how hard is it to not add sprinkles when a CUSTOMER specifically asks for it?? The cashier didn't do anything.. she wasn't like I can get my manager she just kept giving me weird looks like she was embarrassed. I WILL NEVER AGAIN VISIT ANY DD. They ruined it for me, and quite honestly it was never GREAT, my dad is just old school and has loved them since as long as I can remember and that's the reason why I was there to bring them to our family brunch.They don't care about their customers. So I went straight to DUCK DONUTS and it was FRESH AND AMAZING!!! Not like DD'S flash frozen donuts...AND if you DIDN'T already KNOW they use the same company that delivers 7-11 donuts.
