Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I live out of state but come here every chance I get, because their smoothies are very tasty and a good price. Now that I've been here a few dozen times, at this location, which I was told is the best location in VB, I now know for a certain that the people they hire are not very bright at all. For the poor service I was given last year, they gave me a free smoothie "coupon" which was their business card with "1 free smoothie" written on it...... I returned for the first time since, TODAY, to be denied my free smoothie, because THEY messed up and can't verify the legitimacy of the card... If you owned a business that has to warn the public to go get a HEP shot because they can't hire employees who wash their hands correctly or at all... Maybe you should be happy that customer even walked thru the doors or considered your business. Acting like I just wrote that on the card myself?? Getting accused of something you didn't do, by a complete stranger can be a real bummer... I will not be back here ever...

I made a big order. They made my sandwiches completely wrong. Did not add any of the chips that come with it. I ordered through postmates because I am on vacation with no access to a car. And when I called for them to rectify the situation and explained the fact that I can not come to the store they did not care. And told me they can’t do anything about it because the chips were a free side, and they completely disregarded the fact that my sandwiches were prepared wrong. But the chips were part of the meal just like fries are a part of a McDonald’s meal. I expect to receive everything I order. I never have a problem with any of the tropical smoothies cafe’s in North Carolina and I eat this every week. I assumed they all are suppose to meet corporate standards. I will never order from this location ever again. They wouldn’t even provide me with a corporate number. Thank god for google I will be calling corporate in...

I recently put in an order, I had specifically requested lettuce be removed from my wrap. I receive my order that was delivered to me and clearly your employees do not follow directions because lettuce was on there. I normally wouldn’t say anything but the lettuce looked like it went bad 2 days ago. It was revolting I couldn’t even finish the wrap. There is a reason I had requested no lettuce! Also every single side item was missing from the ENTIRE order. The employees really need to pay attention and do their job correctly, I have worked at a tropical smoothie as well as other restaurants I know mistakes happen, but at that point you start over making the item CORRECTLY! I know they don’t care but what if they aren’t paying attention again and put and ingredient on when asked not to and someone has an allergic reaction. Please just...
