Mochi Donut & Tea — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

My wife and I ordered half a dozen mochi donuts, one cream puff, mango pomelo fruit drink and Jasmine milk tea with bubbles.

The food and drinks were excellent! The mochi donuts were still hot and delicious. We especially liked the strawberry, matcha, mango and taro flavors. The cream puff was large and filled with a lot of cream. Reminding us of cream puffs from NYC. The mango pomelo fruit drink was delicious and we will definitely try their other fruit drinks next time. The Jasmine milk tea with bubbles was also delicious and both drinks came in nice drink containers and a bag.

I absolutely love this place it's really cute with the decorations and seating area. Everything they offer is super tasty. Also there staff are very kind. I honestly had a drink I wasn't very happy with because my husband had selected a substitute for my Boba because they ran out of their brown sugar Boba. I was in the bathroom and expected that they would not have put anything in it as they didn't have the correct Boba. Butttt it was the Cristal Boba. Honestly, it's very much not for me as it doesn't have a sweetness that the brown sugar ones does and it has a firmer texture. They ended up making me a new one, and it was amazing. Food: The mochi donuts here are amazing!!! The are made just right with a good consistency and "bounce" on the donuts. My favorite donut is the Padan coconut. It has a hint on vanilla in it and the coconut helps balance the sweetness. I also purchase the brown sugar milk tea, and the tapioca pearls were bouncy and soft. The food that is carried at this establishment is a great place for people who don't like overly sweet things.

Service: You place your order on a self-kiosk, and they will call you to come up and pick out which donuts you want. They are patient with you especially if you are indecisive
