I think this place has been around for a while, but i don't know how. The place looked old, cluttered and dirty. Just unkempt overall. The old woman taking the order up front was not friendly at all. The seating options weren't very many, just a few two-top tables. So, I had to pull two tables together so that my family could sit together to eat. The old lady didn't like that and she made us get up and move to a slightly larger table that had finally become free. Drinks were canned, and we were to grab them from the drink can fridge up front. We had to pump our water into the cup. The suckers (for kids) in the sucker bin were old and gross, and only a few suckers were there. Finally, when our food was ready, it was brought to us not on plates, but in Styrofoam containers. The food choices were very limited, unlike the other Korean restaurants which are very good. And although my food was okay, it wasn't worth almost $20 per meal.
They could clean up, organize and declutter the restaurant. Arrange more seating options, and perhaps try service with a smile. Hungry people should try the other Korean restaurants before they go to this place. If you have low standards and you don't care,...
Read moreCame here for some bulgogi, and they didn't disappoint me. The price seemed high(10.99) but you'll get a lot of meat plus 3 sides, which I choose kimchi cabbage, bean sprout and Korean potato.
The flavor of the bulgogi is absolutely good, especially with rice, they are the perfect combination. The bean sprout and Korean potato is nothing special, the potato is a bit overcooked.
However, the kimchi(side) tasted blend, maybe they didn't marinate it long enough. I mean the flavor of the spices are good but the flavor didn't go into the cabbage. Also, the rice is warm but not hot.
Overall it is not bad but you'll probably wanna order takeaway because this place looks more like a place for you to buy takeouts than dine in, and don't expect to have...
Read moreWe wanted the delicious authentic korean this place used to serve.. however, when we arrived a rude young man took our order. I had planned on getting a tray of Kal Bi, some Yaki Man Doo and Danny wanted Bibimbop.. (My stepmom is korean and can cook some delicious food, but this mess was anything but!) Well I ended up with less than 3 full ribs of Kal Bi and the over filled package of Bibimbop was so top heavy when we got home, the egg fell out of the package. The Man Doo was completely tasteless.. Why I gave my normal 20% tip on top of the already overpriced $50 price is beyond me. We will not be eating here ever again! I will gladly go spend my money where they actually appreciate their customers and make food that doesnt taste...
