Read moreThis place was like a mystery dinner. You didn't know what you were getting. The host sat us and our server was Dietha. She took our drink order. My wife ordered a water with lemon and I ordered a sweet tea with lemon. The waitress comes back with a drink that was very dark had fizz and a lemon. The waitress gave me the water with no lemon and my wife the dark colored drink. We simply swapped but was suspecious of the drink. I gave the lemon to my wife. I took a sip and it was a Coke. So we notifed the waitress. She asked my wife if she wanted the Coke and that it was free. My wife said no and that she can't drink soda. She finally comes back with my sweet tea with no lemon. I told my wife that I have a feeling this isn't going to be good. We ordered the Bloomin Onion, which came out really over cooked. I then ordered the 8 ounce Filet Mignon and my wife got the Aussie 3 - Course Meal and our server entered in the order and repeated it back to us. Well when the meal came out. I looked at my steak and knew that wasn't a Filet Mignon, but at this point I was just ready to leave. I just ate the steak without complaining. It wasn't worth the wait to get another steak cooked. I just wanted to see what it was listed on the receipt. So we are finishing our meal and the waitress ask us if we wanted any dessert. My wife had to remind the waitress that her meal came with a dessert and that she wanted the cheesecake. At that time we requested a to-go box for the my wife's leftovers. The waitress came back with a to-go box and the cheesecake already in a to-go box. We wated to share the cheesecake, but we just took it home. The receipt did list a Sirloin steak and not a Filet Mignon. I am usually a really goood tipper but this waitress didn't deserve much of a tip. I wish I could give zero stars for service. I really was looking forward to that steak too and really thought about getting the lobstar too. Glad I didn't, probably would have got Fish and...
Read moreWe went here for a nice dinner and what we got was the worst waitress we have ever had. She took our drink and appetizer order at 7PM ish, someone else brought it, we didn’t see our waitress again till 745PM, she never checked on us for anything, we didn’t even have silverware and she never took our dinner order. Finally our dinner was ordered and no contact till the food arrived and then again when we’re finished eating just chatting. Never once asked about our food or refills or anything else. Oh yeah, the actual worst part of it all was, when she came back for the dinner order, I said we haven’t seen you for a while, yeah I was a little pissed. She said she had to call someone (didn’t catch the name) that was in hospice to say goodbye. Even if that was true, is that what you tell someone in a restaurant your waiting on. All she had to do was apologize and say she was busy or whatever. We love Outback and have been going to this Outback since it opened so this was extremely disappointing and may be the last time we ever go. I tried to talk to a manager, but no one was available and I didn’t want to stick around. This was 2/16/24
So after we were contacted by Mike, manager of this Outback, we decided to go back. After all we been coming here for 25 years. The return trip on 3/10/24 was back to expectations. Great food and fast, a very tentative waitress (Jenna) and I thanked Mike for reaching out. We love the s center cut steak, the cheese fries but most of all the coconut shrimp, the ranch is the best and a must have at every meal here. Although if you get the center cut steak, try no sauce or anything, the flavor is usually amazing as is, don’t mess it up with A1. I may tip a corner bite in some ranch, but generally no sauce as this steak is awesome as is.
Thank you again Mike, we...
