Come to the drive-thru to make an order. Initial contact wasn't the best but I asked for something wrong... Okay past that get to the window to get my food, took my money. Told me to move up, didn't ask. Wasn't courteous told me to move up, Not having the best day. I already had a bit of an attitude so instead of taking it out on the worker I decide to hold my breath and forward . I Ask how long is it going to take and he was sharp cut me off bout 3 minutes. The unfortunate is my order is going to be Candice, as if I was served at the window because I moved off of their timer to move up to a line to wait. I had to sit and wait. I knew something was off when the bag was stuffed with napkins , chicken tender wrap. Whatever you call it that's not even wrapped all the way through in the paper. I have a second one Looks like it's been cut in half, the three-piece i ordered looked like 1 was cut half, there were only two in there. There's no need to go in and make a fuss but again my day hasn't been the best and I know I would respond with more intensity than is needed for this moment. I know me. But it's obvious they don't care and this is way Hardee's show they appreciate their customers... It's hard out here enough for everybody and I don't wish loss on anybody Whoever that young individual was with the shiny lips and the dreadlocks in the window with the glasses needs to be fired. Or whoever it was that prepared the food for my meal. They're better off working in a warehouse because apparently you can't keep your emotions intact, especially when a customer is paying and asking a question. And I tell you what my health is absolutely intact if this food makes me sick. Best believe I'll be back...
Read moreThis is clearly one of the best Hardee's - actually - one of the best fast food restaurants that I have visited in terms of the crew and their teamwork and their efforts to make sure your order is right. Even if they have to fix a mistake, they're efficient and pleasant. They work quickly even during big rush times. You may have a bit of a wait, but when the drive-thru is wrapped around the building and the dining room is completely filled up, that's too be expected. They still continue to work seamlessly together, with crew members supporting and assisting each other to make sure everyone's back is covered. That's so unusual to see these days in any customer service establishment, let alone a fast food restaurant. I guess this review is supposed to be more about the food, but awesome service just makes everything better, and I wanted to highlight that. As far as the food goes, though, they're consistent and the food is fresh; try the chicken tenders, they're always amazing! This store is also one of the few that still have actual fried chicken buckets, and Hardee's chicken has always been a favorite. I don't get fried chicken often so haven't tried the chicken at this location, but I can't recall having any complaints about any Hardee's chicken in the past. If you're wanting a filling breakfast on the go, you should definitely do in if you're in the Witchduck/Va Beach Blvd area. Hopefully you'll get Akilah - she rocks!

Read moreOrdered my food via drive in. Got home 3 blocks away, it was the wrong order. When I went back inside I was met by a woman I said this is not what I ordered, I ordered 2 piece white meet. She grabbed the box ROLLED her eyes and turned away to meet up with the lady at the drive thru. She asked what I ordered I said 2 piece white meat that I had just left. She and the other lady made faces at each other and mumbled to each other, all of this right in front of their customer. I asked for a manager, some guy came out from the back, I asked him for a number to the owner or manager or corporate, he said he did not have any cards or a number, I said so I should just go to the internet and talk bad about you, he SHRUGGED his shoulders and I don't care I don't have any numbers and I do not even know what your problem is. When I told him how the 2 female employees acted, both woman turned and started to chuckle and one rolled her eyes again, I told the manager that's the problem they are doing it right in front of you and you are letting it happen. Now there was a 3rd male there who tried to smooth things out by asking what he can do to fix my issue and he would give me my proper order, it was to late, I turned and left and will never be back.
