Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Had to come to the area for an oil change at the car dealer on a cold Saturday afternoon. Two hour drive...and NO coffee. Luckily my daughter -also who lives in NC was in the area for the weekend..They came to pick us up & I remembered Krispy Kreme was down the road. The aroma was a intoxicating just circling by to park. Once inside, the warm hospitality was unmatched! We felt like we were at home. They let us sample the donuts we weren't sure of. AMAZING...hadn't done this before. The service was fast. Friendly. Warm. And welcome. Lunisha was a breath of fresh air. Her greeting was exactly the type that would keep them in business for many more years to come. KK has been around since 1937 and she is exactly a positive influence on the type of exemplary customer service that deserves & merits 5 stars! She even commented, "when she's at work this is her house and she wants us to feel at home here and welcome". She just didn't know if I still had my bakery in VA I definitely would have doubled her salary and put her in management! She kept my coffee cup full, the hospitality was they the roof and our loyalty was definitely hooked. We will be back. Everyone was polite and cheerful. They worked fast and careful. All the while the production team was keeping things sanitary spraying the Windows down inside the plant and ...just an amazing experience. I can't say enough. Bless you all. We truly did feel welcome and at home. I love spending money here...even tho I didn't even spend alot - which makes them even more of a prize. Do business with these people and you can't go wrong....YOooo...I almost forgot...she (Lunisha) even told me no need to worry about calories that Saturday because they didn't count that day!!! Lol...now how...

Krispy Kreme is Buggy and serving our 6-legged friends as well as our human friends. I went to Krispy Kreme with my husband and son on Sunday, 11 OCT 2020 to purchase a couple of dozen donuts. While standing in line waiting my turn and trying to decide which tasty treats I wanted I spotted a bee flying around in the case and walking on the donuts. I tried getting the attention of the guy behind the counter. After calling out to him several times as well as another customer in line he looked at us as if we were annoying him. I pointed out the bee to him. He acted as if he could not see it so now other customers are pointing it out to him. Still acting annoyed he ignored the bee and continued doing what he was doing. At that point, my husband drew my attention to a roach or water bug on the floor. It startled me so I jumped. The customers behind us saw this and left the store saying no way are buying donuts from a place that has 1. Bees and 2. roaches. As soon as they left my son points out a fly in the same donut case as the bee. Two other customers also saw the fly and decided to leave the store. At this point the guy that I was trying to inform about the bee is now asking me what I wanted. I asked him if he was concerned that there is a bee and a fly in the case and there was also a roach on the floor. Still looking at me annoyed...he said nothing for a moment and then repeated what do you want. I guess that meant he was...

So after driving from willoughby spit to the Northampton Blvd location where I received horrible and completely disgusting service while having little to no selection of product. I went from writing a bad review to a great one fairly swiftly. I am just a lone man with a house of females whom wanted doughnuts! After Northampton Blvd failed us terribly! We then went to the VA Beach Blvd location near town center where we were graciously welcomed by Connie and Tracy. I must say I was pretty upset with the nights experience at the Northhampton Blvd location yet Connie patiently entertained my ranting and raving but then took time to comfort my frustrations and reassured us that we are valuable customers in that our business is appreciated. Tracy working aside of Connie took extra care with a eager since to serve the customer being extremely polite and courteous while helping us place our order. These two ladies have exceeded my expectations of customer service and I am truly wowed by their ability to deescalate a negative situation. I was ready to switch over to Dunkin but Connie and Tracy gave me that much needed reassurance that I am valued customer and that not every location has to be ... POOP... Thank you Connie and Tracy for keeping my household with Krispy Kreme.

Oh and the doughnuts were extremely delicious and fresh! I would have posted a picture but they didn’t stand a chance after coming through...
