First time: Came here for breakfast at 9:30 and it's crowded already! There were only 2 of us so we didn't wait and get seated right away. It took about half n hour for the food but it was reasonable cuz there were so many customers. The food was good, love the hash bowns, so buttery. The server was nice, the store looks nice, the price was good, $13 something and I'm full af.
The second and the third time: I normally don't write for my other visits for a restaurant but I have to because the services are too different that the first time I came. The taste of the food are still fine but the waiting time for the food are still at least 30-40 mins even though there are not as much customers in the restaurant as the first time I came. Both servers are weird too. The server who served us during our second visit was busy on chatting with another table of customers(I think they know each other) and rarely check on us nor giving us the bill. My friend really needed a napkin but we didn't see her at all for about 15 mins. After we finished our meal we waited for another about 15 mins for her to bring us the bill. Although she apologized and told us she saw someone she knew so it took so long etc. Girl you are working, you and your friend or neighbor or whatever can meet up some other time or wait till you have no more customers who are waiting for your service, and chat as long as you want. If you are busy on serving 10 tables I accept that you need more time like my first visit, but chatting with one table of customers for the whole time and forgot about us? NAH.
The third time I visit here, another server with a different issue. She seemed like she is in a rush. We are like half way working on our food and she already print us our check without even asking if we're splitting our check like the first and second time our server who did ask us. When we get our checks and went to pay, the cashier didn't do anything but she probably need to smile more if you are working in a customer service industry because her face seemed mad and unhappy(or maybe she really is?) and I felt like she didn't wanna help me(she is a receptionist and just help me...
Read moreI'm actually mad. I had to wait a whole day before writing this review just to calm down at how ridiculous this was.
Usually when I go into the restaurant the service is decent (not noteworthy but certainly not worthy of a one star review). Last night, however, my little sister and I were hungry and our mother was off working her second job so I decided that I was going to treat us to breakfast-for-dinner and order some ihop.
Side note: the delivery person was amazing and I do not blame door dash at all. If you need something delivered, I would definitely recommend their services.
The state that I received our crepes was absolutely insane. Mind you, I have had ihop crepes before and they are nothing to write home about, but when I, a broke college student, pay over $22 for food I do expect to have to then assemble my own meal.
4 separate packages for two people. A box for 5 folded crepes, a bowl of a small sum of Nutella, a bow containing such a small quantity of banana slivers that you are only able to put 2 chunks per crepe, and whipped cream that (in both packages) was sitting in a small puddle of liquid.
The icing on the cake? The crepes had very clearly been made some time before and after the heat wore off of whatever heater they were keeping them under, my little sister and I both got met with a face full of stale crepe.
If I could give a review with less stars on it I would.
As I said before, the storefront isn't all that bad (especially since if something like this happens you can send it back) but I would NOT recommend getting ihop for delivery.
Edit: I attempted to add an image of the state of my order when it...
Read moreCame in a few nights ago around 10PM with my boyfriend, and the host was sitting on the bench on his phone. I had no clue he even worked at the restaurant, but he didn’t even greet us. He stood up to pick up the menus, and just started walking away without telling us to follow him. The booth that we were sat at was dirty, with a piece of hair on the table, and syrup in the seat that got on both my hands and clothes. We wanted to ask our server to move to a different table once she came over, but we were sitting there a while before she came to us. There was only one other table in the whole restaurant. I was trying to give this place a second chance if the service ended up being nice, but our server was very rude to us and didn’t introduce herself. She started off being very impatient and rushing us to order while letting out heavy sighs. After having waited nearly 10 minutes to come back with both of our drinks, we finally had the chance to ask her to move tables. She claims that her table was clean, and was clearly annoyed that we wanted to move. Definitely won’t be coming back here again. My boyfriend and I both work in the food industry, and know it’s very competitive. We did not have to choose iHOP at landstown commons for our date night, and we shouldn’t be made to feel our presence is an annoyance. Although, we still tipped our server 20 percent...
