I’ve eaten at several Terriyaki Maddness locations and never had an issue until today. It was gross. Just gross. The chicken and broccoli were perfectly cooked, but they dumped about a cup of water and sauce in it! It was SOUP. Disgusting. U could not taste the chicken, rice, or broccoli. It ruined my meal. It would have been great if they didn’t make it rice soup. I couldn’t even eat the rice. It was a mushy mess. The only flavor was salty sauce, which was a bit watery. Every when eating the chicken potstickers, all I could still taste was the sauce as it stuck around. It was very salty, too. See pics. I have zero desire to return to a Teriyaki Madness after this visit. I lowered the score for atmosphere bc the staff were standing around the kitchen area chatting and the tables were almost all dirty with sauce and sticky stuff. They were not cleaned. Somehow my food was done within about 3-4 mins. I ordered it as I turned off Dam Neck are and into the plaza. I parked and walked in, yet somehow it was already done, packaged, and sitting in the hot box for pickup. No way was it made fresh. I couldn’t tell since it was soup, not a Teriyaki chicken a rice and broccoli stir fry. It was not worth the $20+ I spent for my lunch. I would not return based on this visit.

Gave them a second chance and shouldn't have. I asked for a combo, they didn't ring it up as a combo and said I could have it upgraded for free since it was their fault. Only to be told a moment later to come back and pay for it and they'd refund my first order. We'll see if it gets refunded. And my friend who was with me waited over 20 minutes for their food only to find out they just. Lost his order. Or gave it to someone else. Of course no compensation. For over $16 for a small bowl of food that you could get at the mall for cheaper and with more sides. Sauce is very sweet, very sugary, veggies aren't salted, or if they are, I couldn't tell. Tea was out of order, fruit punch was watered down and the Pepsi was a bit flat. I'm most disappointed with the service. While the cashier apologized, the manager seemed to give no sh--s. Just telling the cashier it was his fault and shrugged her shoulders. She made no attempts to apologize, or refund the order. For the price, you could go across the street and get something way better. Very underwhelming and bad service. Please support better restaurants in the area.

We got the smallest ā€œJuniorā€ size bowls but after comparing our receipt to the menu, the standard size madness combo would have been the same price for more food. Noodles instead of rice, cost a bit extra. So if you like eating here, the madness combo is the best deal, just take home your leftovers. We didn’t care for the food. Noodles were mushy and entire bowl of food was over sauced; too sweet and too salty. Must have msg in food because it gave me a terrible headache. Update: Management assured me there is no msg in the food. This is great news. My headache was not from the food. The broccoli had an odd fishy taste. It was fun watching the friendly, middle aged employees flirting with each other. The entire restaurant was very clean. Latex free also. I received a very nice response from the manager. We will be giving Teriyaki Madness another opportunity to wow us!

I wish I would have taken a picture of this AMAZING chicken teriyaki bowl! It looked so delicious & smelled amazing! I visited for the 1st time the other day when my daughter mentioned that the new owners were running a special for $6 bowls of your choice. We had never ate there before and was looking for something different. My husband and I ordered the Chicken Breast Teriyaki Bowls with fried rice and vegetables.

It took a little while because they were so busy with call in orders and take out since it was a great special AND EVERYTHING is made fresh and from scratch right there! NOTHING comes from the freezer! We didn’t mind the wait because we knew that great things come to those who wait, right?! Well - this wasn’t just great, this was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The chicken was SO tender you can cut it with just a fork. It had amazing grilled, and perfectly seasoned flavor. The fried rice!!! Oh! It is SO DELICIOUS! The vegetables are cooked to perfection. They were not too crunchy but perfectly cooked. Most of the time when you get veggies with rice, they are soggy. Not here! PERFECT!! This was so delicious that I actually snuck in there today to have lunch! Haha! This is my new ā€œgo toā€ when I want take out. Today when the owner was taking my order, she remembered me. She introduced me to her husband and a district manager who came to visit them. They were raving about their crab Rangoon’s. I told them I had not had theirs but I do love them. They gave me a bag to try. They even make their own sweet and sour sauce that goes with them. OMGOSH 😳- can I tell you!!!! These were the ABSOLUTE BEST rangoons I have ever ate! If you want amazing food in a clean and most friendly restaurant- this is a MUST! I promise you, you won’t be sorry! Check it out and tell them Jan sent...

Wish I could give zero stars, but it made me pick one. I’d actually give this place negative stars. I will never step foot into Teriyaki Madness again. First, I was the ONLY customer there, walked in for first time to grab some takeout on my way to work. The cashier snubbed me when I asked if the tofu was GF, then asked the cooks who sort of laughed it off but said yes. Not sure why that is funny as a lot of places serve breaded tofu. I placed my order and gave my name and sat at a table to wait. I figured it would take maybe 5 minutes since it is a counter service restaurant. I sat there for 20 minutes!! Meanwhile the manager was doing first day paperwork with a new employee, and the two cooks were very clearly and incessantly flirting in the kitchen while I sat there and waited and waited. I finally got up and asked the cashier how much longer is it going to be, I didn’t know it would take this long. She said ā€œWhatā€? I repeated the question and said ā€œI have to get to workā€. She then said ā€œoh let me ask, they had a big orderā€. Mind you, I was the only in store customer. If they had a big takeout order and one in store order, they should’ve went ahead and made it. But then come to find out, it was already done, but the two flirting cooks didn’t even serve it to me. It was just sitting there, while I waited forever. Terrible experience, and the food was gross. Mushy, over sauced tofu that went in the trash and I’ll make sure if anyone asks me about Teriyaki Madness, I’ll tell them it’s poorly,...
