If you want an accurate review then read this. My girlfriend and I went to Kelly’s Tavern 8/21/24. It took about 10-15 minutes to get our drinks and a little over 40 minutes for our food to come out when they weren’t busy. We understand the food is not the waitresses fault but our drinks are 100% her fault. Not a totally big deal but we ordered diet cokes and it turns out they had pepsi products. Both of us felt like that’s something that should’ve been mentioned during our drink order. Megan was our waitress. She was terrible though. She had a bad attitude and didn’t seem to take us seriously. At first, I wondered if it was because we are younger and she thought we might not tip well. I am an extremely good tipper. The food was somewhat good. My fries were slightly cold but my burger was good. My girlfriends meal was supposed to come with a side of tarter sauce when it came out. We had to ask for the tarter sauce and a refill. She did say her fish sandwich was good which is good because she is a picky eater. The waitress didn’t check on us after the meal. The hostess did. And another waitress grabbed the check. We did let the other waitress know about Megan’s service and poor attitude. I gave her $5 for just grabbing the check. I also tipped the hostess $20 because she’s the one who asked how the food was and got my refill and tarter sauce. Probably won’t come back for the sole purpose that megan is probably punching the air now that she missed out on a $25 tip on a $43 meal. And yes, we were the youngest people in there but felt judged by her because of it. To the other two ladies. Y’all’s attitudes were great and we both appreciated you for stepping in to help us while she was slacking. nobody should have to work harder because somebody else...
Read moreOur server did fine. My wife had been breastfeeding and hasn't been able to have alcohol until recently and ordered a long island. my sister ordered a Malibu and pineapple and my brother-in-law and I ordered large drafts. My wife tasted her long island and thought it was weak and had my sister taste it and she agreed. She said "Maybe it's not my night to have liquor and sent it back and ordered a Sprite instead. When we got the tab the long island was still on it. We asked that it be removed. a woman who never introduced herself (we later found out from Amanda that her name is Genevieve) came to our table and stated that ABC law states that the drink cannot be removed then added "especially since you drank half of it" then walked away before we could say anything. What was missing from the glass was the taste my wife and then my sister took from it. The glass was at least 2/3 full when we sent it back and that "especially since you drank half of it" comment really pissed us off. It also implies that if Genevieve didn't determine that we drank half of it, she could have taken it off our tab. Between this and other locations, I have been coming to Kelly's for 12 years. It wasn't like we were trying to get over. We all ordered drinks. You just happened to make 1 bogus one and didn't try to fix it and we still tipped Amanda because we know it's not her fault. We're done with you guys and you have that smug, uppity Genevieve chick to...
Read moreWorst experience I’ve had dining at a restaurant. Went with my partner’s family and they were out of children’s lids, chicken, wraps, all lettuce, broccoli and basically the entire menu and it was awful figuring out a meal. The salad they put together was atrocious tasting and the fish was definitely frozen and gross. We all also ordered burgers and my partner waited 20 minutes and we kept asking for his burger and then they said it would be out shortly. It was another 25 minutes and was the wrong burger and our poor waitress had to hound the workers to get the right burger. The restaurant was not busy at all so it was pretty unacceptable. Not to mention we spoke to the restaurant manager about how terrible it was and he was just eating and drinking while every single worker was struggling and he was saying corporate was just not letting them get supplies and this was a regular occurrence because they get truck once a week? Seriously? Also the workers were so overworked they were dropping plates so glass was flying past our heads and to the entrance while we have elderly people and a three year old who could’ve been seriously hurt or could’ve hit my head have I been 2 inches over. Even the bathrooms were horrendous. Management is definitely to blame and it’s a shame because a week ago it was the best restaurant and the family has been going for 18 years and now we will never step foot in that...
