Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

This is the place I used to go to for years. Moe's Monday is an exceptional deal. Despite the things I didn't like about this location I continued to go there. But this time never more. Some of the things I didn't like word number 1: At lunch time if you get the manager making your burrito he puts ingredients there as if they're coming out of his own personal stash. 2: If whoever is making your burrito happens to mess it up their 1st instinct is not to make you a new one but to add another burrito wrap On top of the existing damaged one thus doubling the carbs.(the actual manager did this and I insisted he start over ... AGAIN his own personal stash) But the straw that broke the camel's back for me this time was the girl that was about to dress my burrito wiped her nose, rubbed her nose, scratched her nose and then put gloves on and ask me what I would like. And I answered I would like for her to wash her hands. But then thought after a second maybe I don't want to eat anything at this place anymore. So I left and went to Chipotle.. This is in a dig on Moe's as a whole, just the location closest to where I work and if I was able to see what I saw, imagine what I DON'T see. We visit the First Colonial location almost every week (that sounds bad when said out loud LOL). It has gone downhill fast over the past couple of months. Backstory: I love the chips. I eat the burritos to get chips. I’ve asked to purchase extra chips and have been told they are free. I’m not trying to get free stuff - I’d pay if that was an option. And before you say “order the queso.”, I’ve tried it and was told it doesn’t come with its own chips. So, I always ask for an extra bag of chips and it’s alway been happily given. Until a couple month ago. Now, we are met with unpleasant attitudes and extreme reluctance. It has gotten so bad that on our last visit, the employee nearly refused to give us the chips that came with our order! To be clear, we had to ask to receive an item (chips) that comes with our meal (bowl) and were met with reluctance. I’m guessing there was a policy change regarding chip distribution. That’s cool. First visit to this location. Portion was great, taste was very good. My biggest problem was the beans was way undercooked and hard, the onions and peppers was hard undercooked. I ordered 2 chicken adobe 1 bowl and 1 burrito. The bowl had white meat chicken not chicken adobe as ordered. I might considering going back at a later date, and trying the food again but the manager at this restaurant seriously needs to teach there people proper cooking techniques and order preparation. This isn’t rock science just read the order, and put in what was ordered. My 5 year old grandson knows how to cook beans without under or over cooking them.
