O'Yummy Sushi — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Firstly- The waiter said something under his breath while we were walking out the restaurant. He was looking at the receipt That we just gave him! We didn’t give the waiter any additional tips because there was an automatic gratuity. I don’t like how they secretly leave a tip for parties over five. Our party of five wasn’t aware there was gonna be an automatic tip- I was also wondering why the bill was so high!!! I understand big parties, but there was only five of us and we did three different checks! I just don’t recommend this place because our food took forever to come and the waiter was barely present. The Service was below bare minimum especially for a $18 tip!! The food was okay it’s nothing special. But I personally think the tip should be up to the people- Especially when the check is split.. I understand if you’re paying all in one, but we had Different checks!! Back to the service part- It took about 15 to 20 minutes just to get our food! We wanted to order more, but the waiter wasn’t present enough for us to order. Four out of five got all you can eat. Me personally I would definitely look at the negative reviews before looking at the positive reviews! I recently went through the negative reviews and funny enough. Tonight was my first time trying O'Yummy. We ordered through Postmates. Our food arrived in a timely manner, considering the preparation it takes to make the much sushi (and we ordered A LOT). Upon receiving our food, the first thing I noticed was that everything was very neatly packaged, wasabi and ginger in each container, and they even included soy sauce in little containers. Chopsticks, napkins, and a takeout menu were in the bag as well. But what really blew me away was that they even gave us an extra volcano roll. I'm not sure if it was an extra made by mistake and given to us, or if it was from the massive amount of food we ordered, but it was a very pleasant surprise nonetheless. The food was delicious, the mango in my mango roll was perfectly ripe, and we really enjoyed our O'Yummy rolls and Volcano rolls as well as our Spicy Lady roll. Went here very frequently before COVID and never had any issues here. I have now been here twice since re-opening and the service is terrible. I went in today with a coworker, just the two of us. Three wait staffs on the floor with maybe four tables. I had to ask for a sweet tea twice, both times receiving unsweet tea, and eventually going with a Coke instead. One girl on the floor was our starting waitress. When my first sweet tea was wrong, I tried to get her attention twice, instead she was on her phone leaning up against the front counter. When we made eye contact and I waved to her, she turned her back to me and continued on her phone instead. They gave us all of our sushi on one big plate, which was fine, but the male server told us he was going to bring us plates. We never received the plates.
