Got sushi take out from here. Got the sushi deluxe, spicy tuna roll, and agadashi tofu/age tofu. For a sushi fix, the “sushi regular” or “sushi delux” is an excellent value to cure your craving. Good variety, and good slices of fish on the sushi pieces, not real thin or skimpy like from a buffet, but nice pieces like you’d expect from upscale sushi dining. Everything tasted fresh and good. Really good assortment with the sushi deluxe, pretty much had all the items I wanted. And the spicy tuna roll was above average, great flavor, good ingredients. I honestly think the regular and deluxe combos are the best value for sushi lovers here, you could make an impressive party spread from 4 orders of the sushi deluxe(40pc + 4 rolls + 4 soups, for under 100) rather than doing a boat or the 49.95 combos. For a solo feast the sushi regular is probably enough, and a spicy roll by itself great lunch over McDonald’s. If picking up for coworkers could split a sushi deluxe between 3 people for $8 a person and would be a good meal at fast food price. I probably ordered more than I needed, everything you see here plus a $7 tip and tax was $50 flat, which is really good with the tuna and snapper and salmon included in the combo. If you order take out, they’ll have it ready immediately, almost as fast as a fast food order, so be ready to pick it up right when you order. Fast service, great quality, great variety, great value....

Let me start off by saying that I am not type of person that thinks everything is about race, but I am convinced that this place is racist. My family and I wanted to do a take order and I called shortly before 8:15pm to inquire what time does the restaurant take their last take out order. The woman on the phone said 9:00pm. I spoke to another person from the restaurant and she confirmed that 9:00pm was the last time they take carry out orders.

My family and I arrived to the restaurant around 8:40pm. We go inside to place our order and we were immediately declined service. The women that was sitting at the sushi bar said “we are closed”.

I said I just called and spoke with you and you told me you take your last carry out order at 9:00pm. She looked at me and said “we’re closed”. At this point I knew what was going on. It was five of us in our group and we are all BLACK.

We said never mind and left. It amazes me that someone from Asian descent can be so racist, especially when some of them come to America to escape poverty.

If you are black please...

This restaurant is false advertising! It is not hibachi at all as advertised on the marque on the building! This was the most awful Japanese restaurant. We told the waitress the food was cold. She non chalantly replied it's blamed the A/C. What an excuse! She didn't offer any correction on the meal nor for the issue at all. The vegetable were probably directly the freezer cold slightly thawed and placed in the microwave before being served. The waitress brought us cold food. Also, this restaurant is not hibachi at all. I would no recommend coming to Sakura. You will be disappointed if thinking this hibachi grill. They served old rice and vegetable precooked. They need to name of this restaurant to sushi or something because there was nobody cooking hibachi on a grill or wok. They need to invest in wok and and cook on it to give hibachi as advertised. We did not see a cook at all. The tab for this visit...

It's a casual sushi place right on shore drive. Extremely consistent and has really good deals for lunch and dinner combos if you like sushi. There are plenty of other options like vegetarian and simple chicken and beef entrees as well. I love it because the price point is really good if you know how to order. It is not the very top quality but by far a hundred times better than all you can eat places or buying from a store. Food comes out fast too, and they will give you free samples of rolls sometimes in between courses!

I went early to avoid the dinner "rush". I've been here numerous times & it hasn't changed. Service is quick & efficient, friendly & polite. Their sushi rolls are very good. I usually get the Ichiban roll & the spicy girl roll.. this used to be in a combo for a good price but they don't do combos any longer. They were festive w/the decorations since it's the holiday season. I like this place. In & out quick & full!
