Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Virginia

On Saturday, July 30, 2022 at about 6:00 p.m. my wife and I visited this Baskin-Robbins location. We each ordered a hot fudge sundae. The worse we have ever had. No way was that hot fudge they put on the sundaes. It was a thin chocolate liquid of some type. When they pumped it on the ice cream it appeared thicker than chocolate milk but thinner than Hershey's chocolate syrup. Definitely not hot fudge. It did not taste like hot fudge and actuallly detracted from the taste of the ice cream instead of enhancing it. I have had my share of hot fudge sundaes from Baskin-Robbins over my many years and know what one should look and taste like. I personally feel this store is trying to cut corners to save money. They also put very little whipped cream on the sundaes and just a very few nuts. Again, the store seems to be skimping to save money. Don't go here to get your ice cream fix. You will likely be very disappointed like we were. I will certainly take my money elsewhere next time. Shame on...

There's a young man who's in there all the time by himself. Just to describe him, not sure if he's black or bi racial,wear glasses and afro type hair. Just to make sure I have the right person he comes off always angry, unfriendly and unpleasant. I've been in several times tried to make friendly conversations with him but he always come off not willing to engage. It's very disappointing to come into a ice cream shop with an unhappy employee. I think the people who work there are very nice but to be honest the ice cream portions are really small for what you pay. I asked for two scoops and it looked like a portion of one. I’ve been to other Baskin-Robbins that give you a decent size scoop for your money. Prices are expensive here but I guess we’re paying for the brand. It’s messy how they serve sometimes with ice cream dripping down the sides of cups or waffle cones. I see they been renovating but it still looks a little unkept around the...
