First, I would like to say that generally I’m a fan of Brock’s BBQ. However, my most recent visit was quite disappointing. I understand that we are currently in the midst of a global pandemic, but there is only so much you can blame on the pandemic. Businesses have been allowed to blame lack of services or lack of staffing and inflate prices due to difficulties of being able to receive product. However, as a consumer we expected to be forgiven as we watch our bill goes up and our services diminish. If we are expected to pay higher prices for our food, businesses should be expected to balance out their service to an acceptable level. This is not what I got today when my wife and I went to Brock’s BBQ. Today, my wife and I ordered our food and it was delivered in a prompt manner, but that was not the problem. My wife’s platter arrived on an already chipped plate that the food covered the chip in the plate. While trying to bring this to our servers attention, she would not slow down enough to bring it to her attention. When you order food you expect the server or someone to come over and ask how your meal is or if you need a refill, but this did not happen once. When our server finally decided to slow down enough to ask my ask if she needed a box, my wife informed her of the chipped plate. The server gave us a very insincere apology and placed the check on the table. When I gave my check to the young lady I informed her of my displeasure. She was more responsive to my complaint than the server was. She once again blamed the pandemic for most of concerns. Once again I agree that the pandemic has caused issues in food service, but they need to come to some kind of compromise to make patrons feel like they are paying higher prices and getting the attention they feel they are paying more of their money for.

In my never-ending Tuesday quest to find the best buffet... we find this spot. Brock’s BBQ took us 30 minutes to reach from the Airport. The food was good. Fresh but very slow coming out. The beans tasted unseasoned and straight out of a can. The greens very good. The corn was ok. The mash potatoes were average. The salad bar was very simple. The meat 🍖 we’ll let me tell you. The chicken was to die for. I try to stay away from fried foods but the seasoning on the chicken and fried livers kept pulling me back in. I LOVED it!!! The BBQ 🍗 was pretty smoky and tasty. The pulled pork was more of a shredded pork and was very good because it wasn’t stringy. Almost like chopped BBQ. Either way those where my favorite dishes. The reason this location lost their stars. My server was very nice and friendly. So friendly that she hand picked my lemons and held them in the cup with her fingers on top of the lemons flesh so they do not fall. Gross!!! 🤮. Other than some basic health food violations. The place is worth a visit.

First time trying Brock’s on Ironbridge and sadly, I don’t think I will return. We placed an order at the drive-thru and received friendly service but subpar food for the asking prices. We ordered the Half Rack St. Louis style ribs combo and the Create Your Own BBQ with 1/3 rack St. Louis style ribs and 1/4 BBQ chicken combo and boy was the chicken breast and wing D-R-Y! So dry, I just couldn’t bear to finish it. The St. Louis style ribs were probably the best tasting thing we ordered as they were fall off the bone but on the dry side as well. The sides we chose, cole slaw, green beans, lima beans, and baked beans were average… Chain fried chicken restaurants have better sides. Definitely not worth $40 for two meals… would’ve been better off slow cooking my own ribs and BBQ chicken. So disappointed!

First off, anyone giving this place 5 stars have probably been eating sand there entire life. I’m not a lier so to say this is the worst place I’ve ever eaten would not be true but I travel Quite a bit and love trying new places so I’ve been to many many places and this place is by far worthy of a 5 star review So kudos to the friends and family of this place for looking out for them……with that said on with my honest review.

This Resteraunt is local for me and like many others I read the reviews to help with my decision. I went in with 2 others and out of all 3 of us 4 of us thought it was horrible. I’m actually giving 1 star because the young waitress did try her best. The restaurant has a comfortable layout for seating but lacks highly in Ambience. When we arrived, we were seated and like I stated the waitress was very nice and seemed new and still learning but still did good. My first question was if they did military and she was not sure so she said she would ask. I heard her go to one of the males up front and he almost screamed no as if though he himself was at war with America…..no big deal as understand that everyone is trying to pick back up after COVID but then I ask for the buffet that is clearly advertised in the window and was told no buffet was available till after 5pm and again that was fine but for us it all went bad when we ordered from the menu only to be highly disappointed with the food. I myself ordered the chicken platter for $8.99 which according to the menu came with 2 sides, a bun and some hush puppies…..we’ll get to the other orders in a sec……about 5 minutes after we put in our order I get a small bread tray with a mini bun and 3 tiny hush puppies , 3….tiny hush puppies!!! (everything was cold) but again I’m an understanding guy so I thought ok the main plate is on its way…..well, the I get my plate about another 10 minutes later and it was border line disrespectful. I had about 8 thin cut fries with a cup of coleslaw and the smallest chicken breast I have ever seen which I guess made sense to match the mini bun they gave me. The coleslaw was by far the worst I have ever had with almost little to no taste and I swear it seemed to be from the child’s menu….

Now, I don’t care about price, I really don’t because nothing makes me happier than a full stomach but the food was truly not good at all. I will definitely not return. As for my company, well, one had the philly steak that looked like it shrunk in the drier and was not good at all and the other had a burger combo and said at least he wasn’t hungry anymore.

I wish these people well, I really do but they need to reevaluate the menu or for the...

I have dined in & done drive thru from Brock's BBQ in the past & it was fine. However, tonight I placed a kind of medium sized order $51.80 delivery order with Doordash. My issue was not with Doordash dasher her name was Zhane, she was a lovely young lady & had the order to me rather quickly! One of the items I ordered was The pulled pork family pack that is to include 1pt of BBQ, 1pt Baked Beans, 1pt Coleslaw & 8 count package of buns. I also ordered some additional sides french fries, Jalapeño corn poppers, corn fritters & a bottle of their sauce. When I saw the kinda small bag the dasher gave me I was already pretty sure something was wrong because there was no way all of that was going to fit in a plastic grocery type bag. When I opened the paper bag that was inside of the plastic grocery bag. There was NO buns to be able to make the BBQ sandwiches and there was NO sauce. I texted the dasher Zhane & asked if she had perhaps forgotten a bag from Brock's in her car & she said the female at the counter brought out a white bag a little larger than paper lunch bag & stapled it shut & put in the plastic carrying bag. I called Brock's & a young lady answered & placed me on hold & would go ask. When she came back on the line she was very rude & said that the packer said everything was in the bag. Then proceeded to get smart & say well you can drive here & we can give them to you.I advised her again that it was a Doordash order & due to a medical condition I can not drive for now hence why it was a delivery order. She said "oh well it was in there or like I said you can come get it." I told that I would be filing a complaint against Brock's with Doordash. I sure hope the owner see's this review because it seems since the covid pandemic their standards & customer service has gone down hill!! This will be the last time I ever eat there & will also make sure friends & family will no longer support this small business in...
