I buy 2 coffees a day one for me and one for my son. Iāve been buying 2 coffees a day for roughly 3 years now. They often get it wrong. I often say nothing at all. But every once in a while, I do say something because I spend a lot of money there and for $7+ dollars for a cup of coffee you would expect it to be right. But every time I go in there to tell them that they made it wrong or call them they treat me as if Iām some form of criminal. It is not my fault that you canāt make a standard white mocha. I actually really like the cold ones, but this specific Starbucks couldnāt seem to get those right. So I switched to the hot even in the summer. Now while they have remade them, itās not without treating us very poorly. Physically, making us walk in to show them the receipt, even though it was a mobile order that they could look up. Then they wanted the coffees back and when I started bringing them back, they would go. Oh no, we donāt need them just give us the sticker. My son often goes in to pick them up almost every single time. Heās also the same one that orders them. Iāve told them before but they donāt seem to quite understand we are disabled my son is the only one in my family that is not we have muscular dystrophy if they ever paid attention to their customers, they would see that I show up every time in a white Dodge avenger with handicap tags. So asking me to get out and to do it myself is a bit of a problem. I already did it once myself why should I have to go back in twice myself but we still go in and show them and do what they need. But still being treated very poorly and on so so so many occasions have I said to my son we need to just stop going. Itās not worth the money they canāt make a simple cup of coffee. Iāve been drinking Starbucks since I was 12 years old at pikes place market I know exactly how it should taste. They often wonāt even put the seven pumps of white mocha that I ask for in it, which is usually what the problem is. Often times weāll just ask him for more white mocha on the side because they are such a headache to deal with. But today I called Corporate at 3:08 in the afternoon because all weekend I had had bad coffee. I was going to ask Corporate for my money back and then just vow to never go back. But my son likes the coffee every day and I do too and today he called and interrupted my phone call to Corporate, he asked if he could stop and get us some coffee after school. Heās at the top of his class. Heās the senior class National Honor Society president. He just left Princeton over a summer program. And heās on his way to Yale in the fall after he graduates. I am a single mother with three boys, two of which have Beckers muscular dystrophy. I am also troubled by the disease, but not nearly as bad as them. So when your employees asked me to come in and do some thing, Iāve already done once imposes a problem, especially with my able body scholarly son can walk in and do it for me without any trouble. I called today and let them know that the coffees they made this morning weāre not good. I spoke to Con who was nice and said that was fine just to come back in and show them the receipt. But when my son went in to show them, someone name, Cindy wanted to harass him. This bothers me greatly first of all if youāre going to harass someone, harass the person that purchased it. Harass the parent you make come in there after you canāt make a simple venti white mocha with 3 shots of espresso and 7 pumps of white mocha, give me a break not why not say it to me? Itās very cowardly to come after a young person. Itās also incredibly offending first of all you didnāt tell the truth you said I called four times this week that is incorrect. You made a mistake twice this week and twice I called you on it. Once was technically last week and once was today. Have I called before absolutely because you canāt seem to make simple white mochaās. Cindy , unless Starbucks corporate somehow makes this right, you will never have to make bad coffee for us again. Thanks for saving...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was there yesterday 5/21/23 at 5:15. First, the barista was nice but took forever. I was in line for 10 minutes before I even got my drink, only 3 people were infront of me.. Then I had to wait another 10 minutes for my grande iced dirty chai which iāve heard is one of the easiest drinks to make. Speaking of what I ordered, they gave me the complete opposite. I asked for a grande iced dirty chai(which I had to explain to the cashier that that is a single shot in a regular chai drinkā¦cmon) with 2 pumps brown sugar and oat milk. Mind you every other starbucks iāve been to knows what a dirty chai is I shouldnāt be there for 5 minutes ordering a drink having to explain and then get told what comes in the drink like I donāt know what iām asking for. For context, the barista told me it comes with 4 pumps of chai and asked if i still wanted the chai, like yes⦠I asked for an iced chaiā¦. I didnāt understand. Anyways, they gave me a regular coffee with idek if it was oat milk cause it didnāt taste like it, but some type of milk. No chai⦠no brown sugar⦠probably no oat milk(if I were lactose intolerant that would be way more of a problem)⦠just a regular coffee. Iām not a confrontational person and I was also in a rush, so I took what they gave me. To be in a starbucks for 20 minutes just for a simple small drink is outrageous. There were plenty of staff, no reason for a wait that long but I didnāt give them a hard time. I wasnāt gonna say anything until I got a completely different drink than what I asked for. Iām never one to make reviews but iāve never dealt with a store this bad before. Now I know just to stick to drive...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStarbucks used to be a place where people came to connect, get quality service, quality coffee and connect the community. This new online ordering for Starbucks is ruining its business model and the purpose of its foundation. Today, my wife and I went to Starbucks in Stafford to get a coffee. However, when we walked in, there were literally 20 people waiting for online orders and probably another 10 in line. Needless to say, it took 30 minutes to receive our two coffees. Let me say it again, 30 minutes. 30 minutes....Why? Because the baristas were slaving away on continuous online orders instead of the people standing right in front of them
If you look on Starbucksā website it says āIn 1983, Howard traveled to Italy and became captivated with Italian coffee bars and the romance of the coffee experience. He had a vision to bring the Italian coffeehouse tradition back to the United States. A place for conversation and a sense of community. A third place between work and home.ā Well we no longer live in a society in which connection in a cafe setting is desired I guess. Companies are now just interested in making more money and the average consumer just wants āfast coffeeā like itās a McDonaldās drive thru. Unfortunately, the cost of that convenience is now paid for by the very people who the founder wanted to please in the first place. The locals in the community who are seeking connection. Starbucks was already going downhill for me but will no longer get my business. If I want a coffee, I will go to a Mom and Pop...
