I was visiting this location one Saturday while picking up a lunch order for the company I work for. My boss had called ahead of me to reserve the Clam Chowder that had remained from Friday. The manager on the other side took the phone order and set aside the very last of the Clam Chowder, and was waiting for the remaining order to be brought in by me. I came in about 40mins after my boss had placed the order for his chowder with a list of all the other employees lunch orders as well. The younger girl (and really all the cashiers) behind the register that I brought our printed list to was very polite and courteous. I explained to her our order was a two-part order but under one bill, so she went and found the chowder, when she returned the manager was behind her. The manager made a comment about how she remembers my boss calling other Saturdays too, and how she knows "He likes that chowder doesn't he" and then she was off continuing her work. By this point, everything had moved along very solid and normal. I had filled my cup with some soda and found a spot out of the way but close enough to hear my order being called. After a short wait, I saw a large bag placed on the take-out counter, my pager was alerted and I heard my name called. Now keep in mind the location was busy and I had to mind other customers as I made my way to get my order, but when I was about 10 feet from the counter, I saw a woman reach up to the bag I thought was mine, grabbed it and walked out a near by exit. So for a second I was pretty sure I saw what I thought I saw but with all these other customers, who's to say it wasn't her order (but I had a gut twisting feeling that was our bag). I stood there a moment and waited, maybe there was ANOTHER huge bag coming, but only a minute or two later an employee asked me, "May I help you, did you get your order?" She checked her computer and found the order was made, and gone. The manager was quickly informed, and was very angry. She had taken the order from my boss, spoken to me personally and now the whole order had been taken. She had her crew immediately begin making the order a second time, this time completely under her full supervision along side what appeared like the assistant manager (keep in mind they have over 20 employees running around preparing food as well just to keep the other customers orders coming out timely). The Manager went in the back, and found enough (1 cup) Clam Chowder so that my boss could have some with his sandwich. I was also given a large dessert to bring back to work. I never really blamed them for the other person grabbing and going, but they took it personally, and they did a great job making it up to us that day. The following week we returned with a take out order for work, I thought it was over but as it turns out, the same manager was there and happened to see me coming to place our order, and she personally rang it up, she gave an unexpected discount, and even though my boss ordered one cup (small) of chowder this week, there were two Bowls (large) and they were also left off of the bill. What my opinion about the current Saturday Morning crew is, they are absolutely everything you would expect in customer service, they will go the extra mile and it was very impressive...... Considering, they never did anything wrong! They made our order twice, and gave us discounts because another customer either made the golden rule mistake of NOT "checking your order" or plainly stole it. Besides the food being good, as you would expect from their company standards, they paid the bill for us to stay happy. These people and their food and service are with out a doubt completely deserving of the highest...
Read moreCafe Order 980027, 3 July 2018, 4:17pm I would very likely NOT be leaving a message like this here if someone would answer the phone... I was unable to phone in order after three attempts because no one answered the phone. So, I drove there and placed my to go order, using the kiosk because there was a customer at the counter. I estimate my wait was approximately 15 minutes with one take out order and one smoothie ahead of my order. The other customer noticed something with her order, even though the order had just been verified by a man I assumed was the manager. (Should have been a cue for me...) He was wearing a tucked in black shirt and tan pants. He checked my order and called my name. I decided to take a quick look in the bag, but was fooled by his check & so didn't remove everything. Well, sure enough, when we distributed the 4 orders at home, the following items were missing: an apple, two bags of chips and one fruit cup. I decided to call back to the restaurant, this time selecting the phone system option to speak with the manager. After 3 attempts, I finally--you guessed it, reached no one. So, I'm feeling a bit jipped. Seems like the standard for cleanliness, employee to customer courtesy, plain old manners and the wait time have been slipping for a while now but we've looked past because the food has remained good. But if the whole order isn't even there,...
Read moreI had a really good meal. This was only the second time I ate at a Panera and the first time was decades ago in the communist kingdom of California. I was truly surprised, I truly liked the food. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich with chips and a drink. The chicken salad had cranberry and nuts in it. This added a great deal of flavor, it made the sandwich. The fact that it also tasted like real chicken helped a bit. The location was right off of a highway in a large strip mall. Parking was easy and plentiful. Walked in and went straight to an open Kiosk without any waiting. Kind of a funky screen, I’m still not use to ordering food this way. I feel like a test monkey matching up pictures with the tap of a lever. I’m always afraid of messing up by trying to put the square block through a round hole thereby not receiving the treat that I so desire. Somehow I correctly achieved my goal. The interior tables were all clean so I ate inside the restaurant. When I finished I was full and happy. I cleaned up and walked out to my truck where I rested a bit prior to restarting my long journey home. Not only have I been back but I also ordered the same thing via DoorDash for dinner the...
