So let me start by saying they're food is perfectly seasoned which is why I called myself switching to this location 🤨. The first time we had them it was perfect, no problems. Today I did a pickup order through Grub hub, jumped on this plate baby like I was homeless hog to bite into a piece of fricking chicken 🫨. Ummmm I haven't eaten meat since 2017 🤨. So we call like, there must have been a mistake. I simply ordered beans and rice and received rice with chicken in it, I'm seaman, I DONT EAT MEAT. Thr young man replied with oh yeah if you don't say white rice your rice has chicken in it 🧐. WHAT is that posted somewhere!!!!? He said No, I'm sorry. SIR, so not only is it not posted, yI might get sick tonight and you dont even care ‼️Thats what a menu is for though so you can advise the public of what your food contains so we can wise healthy decisions for ouselves. This nasty little young man just kept empty apologizing to me only to tell me he couldnt make my meal over. When I asked to speak to a manager we got hung up on and then 4x back to back got hung up on. I mean this little ball of nastiness took the time to NOT assist awaiting patrons to stand near phone and watch my number pop up and hang up again. The 5th time we called back the Mgr answers listens and states that he will refund us our money. So he wasnt even Man enough to say Im not remaking the plate, he searched for our order, confirmed the name and advised he was only refunding meals not drinks (I didn't ask you too) Meanwhile horrible customer service and communication, WILL NEVER...
Read moreThis place is a phenomenal choice if you're a fan of Chicken Fiesta(down the street)or delicious Peruvian food. The menu is a unique mix of Peruvian fusion, offering a wide variety of excellent options chicken, steak, lamb ,and some left field options(gyros?) that go beyond traditional Peruvian fare—something you won't find at a place like Chicken Fiesta.
We had a great dining experience, the place has a quieter clientele compared to chicken fiesta. The rotisserie chicken was fantastic and well seasoned, and the lamb was cooked to perfection. The rice and beans yuca were also top-notch, and the whole family, including the kids, found something they loved on the menu.
The atmosphere is clean, fast premium, and the service is reasonably quick and friendly; they are using kiosks for orders, so if you want to save time order online. The staff was great took time to answer questions . Be aware that the restaurant has a clear Christian theme, with Christian music and Bible verses on the TVs. We found this to be a respectful and honest touch. Prices are reasonable, with a cost of around $20 per person. We were all very satisfied and will definitely...

Canastas Chicken knows how to cook a bird, let me tell you! I ordered the 1/4 chicken dark with potatoes and veggies, and it was a flavor-packed feast. That chicken? Juicy, tender, and seasoned like it had been marinated by someone’s abuelita with a secret recipe. The potatoes were crispy and golden, and the veggies? Fresh, vibrant, and just the right amount of crunch. It’s the kind of meal that makes you wonder if they’ve got a Michelin star hiding somewhere.
But here’s the twist: the customer service was... let’s just say it was missing the same spice as the food. The staff seemed more interested in staring at their phones than making sure my dining experience was top-notch. A little warmth and attentiveness would have turned this from a great meal into an unforgettable one.
Still, the food speaks for itself. If you’re in the mood for a killer plate of chicken and sides, Canastas Chicken is worth the trip. Just don’t go expecting someone to roll out the red carpet for you. It’s a “come for the chicken, not the chat” kind...
