Worst dining out experience I've had in years. It was death by a thousand paper cuts, or should I say a thousand service mistakes. There were lots of minor things, like waiting 5 minutes for someone to notice we walked in and to seat us in a restaurant that was at best half-full all the way to they were out of bacon.
Our server was down-right rude, she tried to fake being polite, but failed and she was the worst part. Any one or two or even three things I'd have lived with, my wife was a server for years and we usually over-tip but this girl was over the top, right down to literally tossing my credit card and receipt on my table from 5 ft away as she walked by. She interrupted me as I tried to be specific about my order, then our food took 30+ minutes to arrive (2 burgers and chicken tenders and we timed it because we heard the table next to us mention how long they had waited) and she never once came to check on us in all that time. "Bottomless Tea" really only means anything if you can get more and mine sat empty for 10+minutes while my daughter sat with nothing to drink having finished her vanilla shake. Then when our food came out the sauteed onions my wife had ordered for her burger weren't on it and the onion rings and fries were cold, not lukewarm like the burgers, rings and fries were Cold. I asked for a knife and had to get up to get it myself, then when she finally came back with the drink refills, I mentioned the missing sauteed onions and she at least apologized, but even as my wife said "and" to mention the cold onion rings she had already turned her back and walked away, and she only had maybe 3 or 4 tables. She did bring us fresh fries (they are "bottomless" after all), but even at that the basket at most 50% full, literally like a dozen fries in it. She lied about having been to our table at one point asking us "why we hadn't said anything when she was here earlier", when she hadn't been back since the 30 mins ago we had ordered. She took the onion ring charge off our bill and said she took the sauteed onions charge off, but the receipt showed an in and out for the onion rings but not for the sauteed onions, so i figure they were probably left off because she didn't put them on our order. If I'd seen a manager I'd have probably said something, but I didn't see anyone remotely looking like a manager around and just wasn't up ask around after one.
All in all this really was the worst night out I've had in years, and the server made it...

I recently visited and was looking forward to a good meal. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. I ordered my burger rare, but when it arrived, it was cooked nearly as much as my grandma's well-done burger. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, she informed me that the restaurant doesn't do rare burgers, only "some pink" or "no pink". This crucial piece of information wasn't shared when I placed my order.
Had I been told about their cooking policy upfront, I would have understood. Instead, I felt misled and disappointed when my burger arrived overcooked. To add to the frustration, I had asked for a whole fried jalapeño on top of my burger, but it wasn't served that way. I had to correct the staff, and it took away from the experience of having it presented right on top of the bun.
Additionally, the portion sizes were disappointingly small for the price. While the fries are bottomless, the initial serving was very small, and my grandma's order of onion rings, which are not bottomless, only came with five pieces. She was really looking forward to the onion rings, and this small portion size felt like a rip-off.
The waitress was nice, but this lack of communication, attention to detail, and portion sizes really soured my dining experience and made me feel cheated. I gave 2 stars because I didn't feel like complaining, and they were nice, so I'm trying to be as fair as possible. While the rest of the meal was fine and there were no major issues, the way these situations were handled left a negative impression. I hope the restaurant can improve their service by clearly informing customers about their cooking policies, paying more attention to special requests, and offering better portion sizes to avoid similar disappointments...
Read moreWorst experience I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. The server Keyondria was very nice and did her best. The food was ok, definitely not as good as I remembered it being although we haven't been to a Red Robin in years. However, I ordered a piña colada and it didn't have very much taste, since it tasted like ice and piña colada mix I drank as much of it as I could, almost half but the glassis hugeand it was topped with a considerable amount of whip cream, the server was very busy so it took her a while to get back to the table so I sipped on the drink until she got back, when she came back to the table I asked her if the drink was virgin because I didn't taste any alcohol, so she told the manager; the manager came by and I told her that it didn't have any taste and I didn't taste alcohol and she defensively said "there's an ounce of liquor in it" , I proceeded to say "I understand but it doesn't have any taste", in a rude and condescending tone she replied "well you drank alot of it so....."" and walked off! She didn't offer any resolution, the glass was huge she could have offered to reblend what was left of the drink or showed any type of empathy but instead she spoke to me like I don't know what a piña colada is supposed to taste like. I hadn't been to red Robin in years and I will NEVER be back, I left feeling like I wasted $60 plus the tip and we could have chosen any other restaurant to give our money to, if she doesn't know how to manage front of house then she shouldn't be in the front of house dealing with customers because we don't owe this restaurant anything to be spoken to that way, and the only reason I didn't become aggressive and argumentative with her is because my son...
