Me and my husband ordered from this chanellos a couple days ago for the first and the LAST time. We ordered two pizzas and cinnamon knots for delivery, including tip it was $42. Around 2:25am we got a call from the delivery driver saying our food was delivered on our porch. We immediately went and checked both our porches and there was no food. We tried calling the driver back several times not even 5 minutes later and we even tried calling the store and no one answered. We also tried tracking the delivery but the GPS on the driver was "turned off". We never got our food that night. My husband left a bad review that night just saying we wasted $42 not to get any food. The owner responded to his review and told him to email him so he can make it right. So he emailed him the next day, twice and we waited several days for a response with no luck. The next day after not getting our food we decided to try and just call the store so we could hopefully just get our food and the guy on the phone just kept telling us that "our food was delivered" and we probably had "a food bandit in our neighborhood". We were the only people awake in our neighborhood and we were waiting by the door for the pizza because we were really hungry. No car even drove down our street. We tried telling the guy on the phone this and he just kept repeating that our food was delivered. He wouldn't even believe us. We just told him that we wanted our food and he said that he can't just "send free food out to people". But it wasn't free, we paid for food and we never got it. Finally he just offered to give us corporates number and we called and left a voice mail there but we still haven't heard anything from them either. Needless to say, this was the worst delivery experience I've ever had to deal with. I wasn't given a receipt when I made my purchase only my change. Very poor customer service. I called the next day which they don't open until 4pm. Finally when they open I was able to speak with someone I asked for the manager. It was a young male he stated that he was the assisant manager. I explained that I purchased a sub the day before in the evening and it was awful. I also saved the sub. Remind you I payed almost $15. He placed me on hold and came back to the phone and said "I can give you $5 off your next purchase". At that point I asked for a refund he told me that I would have to call the corporate office for a refund. I asked was that the policy and that I wanted to see the policy that states that. He told me he didn't have the handbook. I said to him so you would rather me call corporate rather than remake my food or refund me. I also reminded him he didn't give me a receipt when I paid for my food. He found the receipt so I had to drive back to chanellos to get my receipt for proof for when I do call corporate. On my way to the store the assistant manager called my phone and asked how much of the sub did I eat. If I didn't eat more than half they could remake it. At the time I was half way to the store and didn't bring the sub because I wanted the receipt. He wasn't a bad person he was just very young and needs more training on how to deal with an unsatisfied customer. Ordered two Philly cheesesteaks but my boyfriend is allergic to mushrooms , when ordering the app doesn’t give you an option to remove anything or add anything …. (See video attached) Decided to call the store…… the guy that answered the phone I asked him if they could remove the mushrooms from my subs he said that should be fine no problem let me confirm with the manager …… said manager said no they don’t take changes to a third party order ??? Oh okay…… let me contact Grubhub …… they contacted the merchant and got the same answer at that point I wanted to cancel my order but nope that wasn’t allowed either. So now I have two subs that I can’t eat all because the manager couldn’t remove mushrooms from my order….
