The food here is almost always really good. However, I have now had two run-ins with the manager.
On this most recent occasion the cashier did not charge me the correct amount for my food, and I was asked to come back and pay the difference. I have never had any food establishment ask me to pay for THEIR mistake. Do they ask every customer to come back and pay if they make these mistakes? Super unprofessional.
However, I was willing to pay because I wanted my food and had a feeling if I refused, the manager would not give it to me.
When I asked the manager why he could not eat the cost ($2.50!) of their mistake, he proceeded to get loud and irritated with my question in front of a long line of other patrons. He stated that his worker needed to get paid. I agree, she does, however, she also needs to learn from her mistakes. That is part of learning how to be better at your job, in my opinion.
This “manager” should not be in a position of authority. I asked for his manager and he pointed to my receipt. I tried the number, but I suspect that it is either his number or his manager does not care that he is disrespecting his customers.
Lastly, on top of charging me the extra money, he charged me tax, which I had already paid. When I asked him about it he said that he cannot control the register. As someone who has worked in the food service industry, that is a blatant lie. It is a simple press of a button.

The restaurant also refused to answer the phone, both when I tried to call them, and also when DoorDash Support tried to call them for the same reason. The Dasher even refused to answer the phone so I could discuss the allergies with him, then also did not answer DoorDash Support when they tried to call him for the same reason. As if that wasn't enough, they forgot to put the bacon on the Cheese & Bacon Fries, and also forgot to leave the salt off of one of the Cheese Fries. End result: 1. Two of the three sandwiches were not safe to eat. 2. One of the three fries was not safe to eat, and another was just wrong. The one positive thing about this meal was that the one edible sandwich (my Philly Cheesesteak) was fantastic (the only reason for two stars instead of one!). One was when I had a delivery for Uber eats, they do not secure their food like other establishments do and on top of that instead of using two separate bags they packed one bag full. I ended up loosing my customers fries even tho I secured his bag the best I can. Let’s say he wasn’t to happy.
The second time was today 12/12/23 when tried calling them because I was having issues trying to retrieve my email reward I got and that ends today not showing in my app, so I couldn’t make a online order and drove there. I talked the manager about it and he wouldn’t honor the coupon telling me that maybe it’s an issue with this and that. Or maybe the email is wrong. I told him there is no issue and the email is not wrong. It clearly states it ends today on 12/12. I told them I will never eat there again on top of that I had better Cheesesteaks anyways.
