Let me start this review by saying that I went into the store the other morning with a pretty strong idea of the particular mattress that I wanted. I was greeted by Melissa who right away asked me what was going on with my current sleep situation. After answering a few of her questions I showed her my shopping cart on the MF website and told her that this was the one I was interested in. She proceeded to tell me that it was the same one that she was going to show me and we were actually standing beside if it. I had no idea since the info about the mattress was at the foot of it and we were standing at the head of the bed.
Melissa really knows her products and she believes in them. She owns her own MF items and songs their praises. She asked me about the type of foundation I was thinking of and then suggested I try an adjustable base. I stated that even though I have had opportunities to try adjustable bases both at my parents and a family members home that I never did since I wasn't really interested in one for myself. Melissa asked me if it would be okay to do a demonstration of an adjustable foundation so I agreed. Alli I can say is oh my goodness what a difference even a lot little bid of adjustment made. I am a side sleeper and suffer from Sciatica, hip pain from the pressure of lying on my side (both) sides unfortunately and chronic back and shoulder pain. Basically I'm just a wreck lol.
They had a sale going on and I purchased the mattress and foundation as well as a cooling, waterproof mattress protector and she stated that I could get them as early as that coming Saturday, August 26th but I actually set the delivery for a week later as I just moved and am still unpacking and putting away things.
I have been sleeping on my couch for a little over a month so needless to say I am over the moon excited to get my new bed on September 1st !!

Read morePat is rude as hell. I couldn't believe how unhelpful someone could be. Had to order a different frame because the first one was bent and now telling me they can't help me till Tuesday when the techs bent the second one as well as broke the motor and broke my first one which we tried to get back before they broke that too by tossing onto the truck (but that one could at least go up, I needed that since I'm PREGNANT)? I'll be taking this further with a district manager. But I honestly can't believe how disgusting I was treated. Also, when contacted by the DC delivery person, and was told to ask for the upgrade since this has now happened twice, and call them back because they told me if I had problems to do so, they then informed that this isn't the FIRST TIME Pat (I didn't even know his name at that point) has been that rude. I don't care that I get a replacement (and still have to get 3rd replacement since the bed lift off the ground and needs books to level it) , I care that he was mean and rude. As you were not met with any rudeness in the first place, you are rude as can be and how you reply to reviews makes you worse. You lying isn't making this situation better. I never said a single curse word or anything, the calls are recorded, so let's hear them, Pat. When the ticket clears on Tuesday, I will need an other base.
Edit: I would like the transcript to our phone conversation (they are recorded, right?) because I wasn't mean and vulgar towards you until you started with the attitude, even after you were rude first, I never used foul language towards you. I loved dealing with Melissa but you (Pat) on the hand need to not be so condescending and rude. I want you to give proof that I was those things since I never am to anyone without reason and I don't use foul language to costumer service humans since I am one. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I went into the store already knowing the exact mattress I wanted to order but felt like I was being scammed the entire time I dealt with the salesperson. First, I was asked if I wanted to pick the mattress up or if I wanted delivery. I was told delivery would be $99. I responded that according to the website, door delivery was free but there were two other options that had fees. The salesperson then moved on, without any discussion, with free delivery. We then discussed a coupon I had and military discount which I was eligible for. I was informed it would be one or the other which is understandable so I elected to take the military discount since it would save me about $75 as opposed to the $50 coupon. At this point the salesperson said no, you can either have the military discount or the sale price on the mattress, not both. I said I thought it was both to which she responded it has never been that way in the seven years she has worked their. I responded by showing her their own website that said the military discount was in addition to any sales. I took this all to mean she had been scamming people for the past seven years.
