Best experience at a Korean restaurant! Husband and I took our son to Burke Lake Park for a late afternoon walk then decided to stop here to have a quick dinner before heading to the Hmart in the same shopping center. I love Korean food but typically get bad service (for some reason I always get attitude when I can't respond to waiters/waitresses in Korean). The guys at this place were awesome! Super patient with us and were very accommodating. Made recommendations when they noticed we couldn't figure out what we wanted to order. Didn't rush me and even handed me a menu when they heard me saying to my husband I couldn't see the menu (even though their menu is huge on the wall and very visible - my eyes are just bad). The food was great and conveniently packed so we were able to quickly close the lids to take our leftovers with us. This was our first time here, we've eaten at other Korean fried chicken places before and this is probably one of our favorite places so far. The wings were super crispy but not hard, flavorful but not disgustingly dripping with sauces, and the meat was nice and moist/tender. our son is usually pretty picky with his food but he ate the soy garlic wings pretty well. And the fries! They were so yummy. Husband called them pizza fries lol. We definitely recommend giving this place a try. Also, weird side note, their high chairs and bathrooms were super clean (which I appreciate tremendously, not sure if anyone else cares about those...
Read moreI've been a loyal customer of this chicken joint for a long time, often getting wings from here almost every week—sometimes even more than twice a week. Unfortunately, the quality of the wings has recently taken a nosedive. The amount of sauce has been consistently lacking, so I’ve started requesting extra sauce to try to get them back to how they used to be.
However, my experience on March 7th was the worst yet. When I placed my order, the employee assured me he would make sure the wings had enough sauce. But when I got home, my order was extremely disappointing—dry and nothing like what I expected.
I called the store to address the issue, only to be put on hold for about 30 minutes. Not only was this a huge inconvenience, but the employee also showed zero accountability. Instead of apologizing, he told me that this is how the chicken is going to be moving forward and that I just have to "deal with it."
This kind of dismissive attitude toward customers is unacceptable. If a customer asks for more sauce, a simple solution would be to accommodate that request. Customer service and consistency are key to maintaining a business, and my recent experience made me feel undervalued as a frequent customer.
I genuinely hope management takes this feedback seriously because if this is the new standard, they might find more customers like me choosing to take their...
Read moreGreat experience today. Customer service was EXCELLENT, specially for a fast casual kind of store. Well above what I was expecting. The young man behind the counter made recommendations on what to order without us having to ask, including how to order to save a little money and get a taste of multiple items. He brought the food to our table outside, including cutlery. He kept our tab open for us when we said we might order more food later (and we did) so that we didn't have to pay twice. He noticed when we were done and beginning to clear our table and came out to help us. He was just all around pleasant and did a great job representing his restaurant. The food was great. Very fresh but not a long wait (definitely made to order). Well seasoned (enough to have distinct flavor but not overdone). Specially nowadays when customer service seems to be dead after covid, I was very pleasantly surprised. I hope that young man gets promoted or at least appreciated by his supervisors. Wish I had gotten his name to put in...
