Cinnaholic — Restaurant in Virginia

The flavor of the plain cinnamon rolls, vanilla frosting, and cream cheese frosting are quite good.

However, that's where my compliments end. The size of the plain cinnamon rolls for $6+ is disproportionate. Let alone $8-9+ for the ones with toppings. I ordered frosting on the side to make it cheaper because the cinnamon rolls were small. The height might be around 1.5 inches? Not only are they small but I also got rolls that weren't nearly similar in size. It feels like cheating when I'm given a roll that's much smaller than others.

The hazelnut frosting has a strong aftertaste. I wonder if it's an alcohol based flavoring because it tastes incredibly artificial.

I understand overhead must be high BUT the price doesn't match the quality of what you're getting. Please make these buns at least 25-30% bigger. I can't justify ever coming back for this. I can make my own vegan cinnamon...

We were in town for a funeral and had lunch next door to Cinnaholic and after lunch we walked over to check it out. The young boy working was very pleasant and greeted me as soon as I walked in. I had so many questions and to be honest I was like a kid in a candy store!😍😍🤷‍♀️ I ordered the apple pie cinnamon roll and it was sssooo good! We ended up going back the next day to get 4 more to bring home (to Rhode Island) when I mentioned to the woman who was waiting on us that I hoped they would be OK traveling back to Rhode Island the next day, she suggested that she could wrap the boxes in plastic wrap and bagged it all up for us! Well they traveled very well, and we put them in the microwave for just a little bit and they tasted just like they came out of the oven!! I went to cinnaholic recently to try out one of their cinnamon buns but got introduced to something else. When I walked in no was there. I called for help a couple of times but no response. A couple minutes later a baker came out from the back and was looking for someone to help me. Still no one came out. Before I walked in I saw a girl in the front of the restaurant on the phone. Apparently that girl was the cashier. Before the baker went back to the kitchen I asked for his recommendation. I say I was between the lemon/blueberry coffee cake and the Cookie Monster cinnamon bun. Surprisingly he said the lemon/blueberry coffee cake so that’s what I got. I also got a day after cinnamon roll with frosting on the side. Total ended up being the same as if I got the Cookie Monster cinnamon bun. I don’t regret my decision at all. Definitely a...
