Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Virginia

Never argue with you customers 1st. Specially when you don't serve the blizzard upside down the way its supposed to be... even the galaxy blizzard pic is upside down. So what if a fee sprinkles fall off. Smh. I flipped upside down. What fell off? NOTHING. My caramel cannonball shouldn't have been served period. It was over flowing and definitely couldn't be served upside down. I ordered a blizzard not ice cream milk with caramel chunks in it. I tried to take a bite and it gushed out everywhere, melted icecream all over the place. Shouldn't happen. I'm so disappointed, one of the worst ever. The kid argued with me when I said something about it not upside dow... nope. You just don't do that... you messed up. The cotton candy one we order... upside down? Nope. Excuses? None. #of free blizzards? None. Zero. Notta. Manager looked gross and just sat there... did and said nothing. We came to this one thinking better area better service... boy were we wrong. I had a terrible experience at this Dairy Queen location. I walked in with my boyfriend and ordered a small blizzard for us to share, and when I went to reach for my debit card to pay, the man behind the counter told my boyfriend that he should be paying for the ice cream. He then looked at me and said “c’mon, he should be paying.” My boyfriend and I laughed this rude comment off, and I continued to pay for the ice cream. While receiving the blizzard, the man put one spoon into the ice cream cup, and when I asked for him to give me another spoon, he said to me, “I figured. Don’t give him any. He doesn’t deserve it”, implying that since my boyfriend didn’t pay for the blizzard, he doesn’t deserve to have any of it. This ticked me off and I walked out of the store in frustration. I found these comments absolutely disrespectful and completely derogatory. I did not like the way that this man treated my boyfriend and I, and because of this, I will never be returning...

Walked in to observe manager and or owner publicly correcting a cashier which was unprofessional. The seating was piled up on one side of store. Ordered blizzards for myself and another. We got the Oreo dirt pie without gummies and drumstick. Mine didn't have brown chocolate color as display. The drumstick was ordered with chocolate ice cream but made with vanilla. The cashier (different then one being publicly humiliated) was clueless. I normally order thru the app but decided to scan at register since one blizzard was special order (can't special order on app). There is a process to receive your points by scanning phone when in store. They had no idea what I was talking about and owner/manager advised "I don't know the technical stuff". Oh the blizzards weren't turned upside down and we soon found out why. We went outside sat down at a bench to find them a melty mess. Will never ever patronize this...
