UPDATE: since my first review, the staff even patiently taught me how to shuck oysters, helped me choose my own knife, and offered to file it down to a comfortable length for me. These people are gems. Seriously such a special corner of Hampton roads.
Original review: Staff was super friendly and funny. Lox & smoked swordfish were INSANE, some of the best meat I've ever had. Tuna is sushi grade, which is nice to know it's available. I was impressed as soon as I walked in because there is raw fish everywhere but the shop doesn't smell fishy at all which made me feel confident it was quality seafood. Read moreWent on a Sunday, the market was nice and they had a variety of fresh fish, clams and lobster. Online it appears as if this place is a restaurant as well but it really is more of a market. The day I went the guy working there only knew how to serve the gumbo from the crock pot and he didn't offer napkins , cutlery or and advice on what they could cook for us or not. Felt as if I had to drag it out of him. Seems as if he had worked there for quite a long time but still had no clue how to talk to customers or to use the equipment. But he did know every word to the rap song on the radio. ( Guess we all have our...

We got here and the staff was friendly and filled our container with the pizzas and a couple of other items - about $30 to top up the container with dry ice - a bit pricey but did the trick. We took two days to get home (~13hrs driving) and though all of the dry ice was gone by then the items were still frozen. I would...
