Called femmes and fidos to see about grooming my puppy. I called them to set up an appointment. I gave them all the details of my puppy. His breed, weight, and medical. He got neutered 9 days prior to the appointment and i notified them of that. I also said i had post op papers from the vet saying we could bathe him after 7 days. So we set up an 8 am appointment. I arived there early this morning and was informed they would not groom my dog. When I asked why they said they wont groom him till after 10 days of his neutering. She also got an attitude and said she wished i would have informed her of the neutering before the appointment which i did.It was completley unperfessional. They obviously do not have there business well organized. The front desk and groomers should be on the same page. They should have a policy on their pets. It appears to me that they dont really care about the animals and more concerned with bringing busniess in. I should have been told from the begining that they couldnt groom him. I will not be returning to them....

It's difficult to build trust, however, when we can't see the actual space where they'll be spending their time and there aren't any cameras for pet owners to "check-in." We did love that when we picked our dog up after boarding, she seemed happy, her body nor any of her things didn't reek of urine or feces like we've experienced at other boarding houses. Lastly, we would've appreciated meeting the owner or at least a phone call/email during the meet and greet phase & at least once while boarding especially since we were told that's who is actually spending time & supervising the boarders through the night. A bit pricey for a lot of...
Read moreI used to be a regular at Femmes & Fidos. I was very pleased with the groom itself and they were always very accommodating of my schedule and pro-active about scheduling. The reason I ultimately ended up going to a different groomer and removed a star was due to the atmosphere. I recognize everyone has bad days, but I twice entered their front door to hear a groomer loosing their patience and yelling at a dog. I also had complaints about my senior dog being unable to sit for the full duration of the groom and needing breaks due to stress and age. I decided I no longer felt comfortable leaving my dog in their care. Just was not the right fit for...
