I managed a Dominos in my home state for three years. I currently am a GM of a hotel. I do not complain because I listen to people complain and blow things out of proportion all day long and find it annoying. However, I was SHOCKED at the way I was treated. In my state when I worked at dominos and had to drive as well in addition to currently Managing a hotel; I witness delivery drivers deliver the pizza up to the room. I was surprised when I got a call from the driver stating he was downstairs and for me to come down to the desk and pick up the pizza after I had placed my order online and the online order form asked for the room number as well as hotel address. Ok, no problem. I wasn’t expecting to run down there, so I didn’t have my shoes on but no biggie. I told the driver I would be right there. I found my shoes, got them on and was just about to open the door when the driver called again. He, again stated he was waiting downstairs. I said yeah I’m getting down there right now, I thought you delivered to the room, but I will be there in just a second. I head to the elevator.. and the fire alarm goes off. As I am on the fifth floor, I now have to use the stairs because elevators will not be operational while a fire alarm goes off. To add to it I’m 8 months pregnant. I head down the stairs as quickly as I can, get to the last flight and the driver calls me again. I can hear the fire alarm going off while he’s talking to me.. so I know he’s in the building with knowledge the fire alarm is going off. He knows the room number because it’s printed on the order slip. He tells me again he has my order and has been waiting for me at the desk for a really long time. I explained to him I’m 8 months pregnant and just had to get down five flights of stairs and I will be there. He sees me coming around the corner and I get to him. Again he tells me about how long he has had to wait for me. I said to the driver I was surprised he didn’t deliver up to the room, I had worked for domino’s for three years managing and never once would a driver call a customer that many times. I explained to the driver I am pregnant and got down to the desk area as soon as I possibly could and the Constant calles was unnecessary as well as his attitude after I had told him I had to walk down the stairs after the fire alarm went off. He handed me the slip to sign. I signed it and left no tip. As I have been in the service industry a good majority of my life involved with tips, this is the first time I have never not tipped in my life. The driver started to get mad because I hadn’t left him a tip and tried to confront me about it (fire alarm going off still, fire trucks arriving on scene and all). At that point I told him the way I was treated was unacceptable, I didn’t appreciate it and no, I wasn’t leaving a tip. Rather than argue I went into the building to see if I could assist their front desk with any further evacuation of the hotel. I called the manager after everything was ok (about ten minutes later). She was nice enough and did compensate my order (which I didn’t really care if she did or didn’t) said she would talk to him. Kinda generic.. maybe she will.. maybe she won’t. I hope she...
Read moreI used to work for this particular franchise, so I have a lot of respect for the employees that work for this location, but my delivery and customer service experience tonight was terrible. The delivery driver that delivered my pizza gave me the medium sausage pizza that I had ordered, but also gave me a medium cheese pizza instead of the ultimate pepperoni/extra cheese/extra sauce pizza that i had ordered. When i called to request a replacement, I was put on hold for about 10 minutes and then told that they had already closed and that the make line had already been put away. I was offered a free large 1-topping pizza (for $12.99) instead of a replacement for what i payed for (which cost almost $19.00). I again, asked for a credit for the money I had spent. The employee on the phone said okay and then hung up on me. Overall, I am very disappointed with the customer service I experienced because it is definitely not up to par in regards to the standards I was held to when I was an employee of this franchise. Read moreOn behalf of my entire team I'd like to thank you for ruining our pizza party experience from start to finish. We started off by waiting for a lengthy amount of time to order, which given the current situation we were understanding about. Although the absolute rudeness and disrespectful nature of the man taking our order was completely uncalled for. After we place our order, although lengthy, totaling $354.62, not that complicated, the pizza is only 32 minutes late. When we open our pizza we couldn't find a one that wasn't half smashed. The wings we ordered we fine. I'm happy to see business is busy for this store because, after the staff member being disrespectful and the state of the pizzas when we got them, we won't be making the mistake of trusting our next team party to this Dominos if any Dominos.
